When you move to Bainbridge, find a lawyer who will handle petty claims so that you're ready to deal with whichever misery Bainbridge Disposal chooses for you. They routinely bills more than one customer for the same location, lose or damage containers, bill for the place you used to live, and don't have auto bill pay (good thing since the bill is often wrong). They're a multi-decade monopoly, and a stark reminder that small towns are just as corrupt as big cities.

if I could give zero stars I would. Constantly missing my garbage and recycling pick up. No one answers their phone or Facebook messages. We have no other option on Bainbridge Island, but this terrible company.

The was no recycle pick up in the south end on 01/13/2020 due to snow. Fully understandable. But it was not picked up today either. I have already paid for my recycling to be picked up every two weeks. It will now be four weeks between pickups, and I am told I will be charged if I take my materials to the transfer station. I guess it is okay to charge me twice for the same thing. I will remember this the next time a rate increase is proposed.
