I visited this salvage yard today looking for a convertible top hinge for old BMW but the experience was nothing short of awful. I called multiple times yesterday asking if the part was available, but nobody would give me an answer. finally around 5:30 I receive pictures and at that point the part looked semi OK. I really only needed the hinges and not the soft top. After getting to the salvage yard, me and a worker went to the car to look at the soft top and it was completely destroyed. I tried to talk to the owner. Big mistake. He was incredibly rude, started cussing for no reason, and acted like I was wasting his time just for asking a few basic questions. I was keeping my cool the entire conversation. I kept saying meet me halfway. I’ll give you $250 for a part that may or may not work, but I was willing to take the risk. Then came the kicker: he wanted $500 cash only for the part — no receipts, no warranty, and no guarantee it even worked. When I asked about testing it or at least some kind of assurance, he just laughed and told me to “take it or leave it.” Honestly, this place is a complete mess, and the attitude of the owner seals the deal. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. There are plenty of other salvage yards out there that are professional and treat customers with basic respect.

First of all, I asked for a specific PCM by part number and application. They said they had four in stock. I explained that I need them to be specific to my application. He said they were so I went ahead and purchased all four. One of them did not work at all it was dead dead. I called Roy the salesman that I dealt with and asked if he can exchange that one for a different one and he said no even though it didn’t work it didn’t matter that it didn’t work. There’s no exchanges or refunds, but he sure did offer to sell me another one. I would steer clear away from this place!

I spoke to Mike on the phone, he confirmed they had my vehicle and the parts I needed.. No problem.. Until I drove 2 hours to get them, and he told me the van was damaged and all parts were unsalvagable! Waste of time and money.
