Terrible. These people are crooks, they will lie to you to hold your car for as long as they can hold it ti drive up the storage fees, they tried to lie to me and hold onto my property by saying I had to have the registration under my name but I was still in the process of transferring the title I went with the previous owner and he still didn’t let me take out saying I have to pay the registration fees before I could take it out I had already paid the tags but I had to go to the dmv and get proof and even when I got back to their yard with the proof he argued with me threatening me that he still had the right to refuse service to me and not let me take my car out and threatening to call the police on me because I refused to accept his lies and let them hold onto my property, he was yelling being ignorant and trying to make sarcastic comments to get a reaction of me, I told him he’s wrong for this and God doesn’t like this type of behavior from people and Raul responds to me by saying “God can’t help you here” which is really disrespectful but at the end of the day he’s not hurting me with those comments he’s hurting himself. I was able to take my car out at the end of the day but they didn’t make it easy for me. Be careful with romos towing, if they impound your vehicle make sure you show up PREPARED and early in the day because they will make it as difficult as possible to take your stuff out, and be ready to deal with a evil, disrespectful, crooked staff.

My 2100 ram Laramie was towed on thanksgiving thursday nov.28th because myself , wife, and 10 month old daughter were hit by a negligent driver who ran a stop sign at full speed. I’ve been attending to my family since. The following Wednesday (December 4th) my wife calls them to get information about retrieving the vehicle as we have never been in this situation before and was informed that they submitted a lien on my vehicle without any written or verbal communication with us. We had the vehicle towed from their towyard the following day exactly 7 days from the day of the accident to a geico approved location. I called them same day Thursday December 5th asked them to remove the lien after their storage fees were paid and she reiterated lien was submitted and hung up on me. I will be reporting them to BBB and the California Bureau of Automotive Repair for unethical and illegal business practices. They required to notify me of fees or have some form of verbal or written communication prior to submitting a lien. Totally unprofessional.

These people are breaking the law. My vehicle was in my mother’s name. I am the executor of her will. We are insured by Farmers insurance with full coverage. I am an insured on the policy. I was operating the vehicle when it was totaled in an accident and the vehicle was taken to Romo’s by CHP rotation. They refuse to release the vehicle to me or my insurance company in violation of California vehicle code section 22651.7 which requires its release to me or my insurace carrier. I will file suit this week.
