Code Red Towing managed to take an already stressful accident and turn it into an unnecessarily frustrating and exhausting experience. After our truck was towed following a wreck, I called the next day to confirm whether my 17-year-old son, who is an insured driver on the vehicle, could pick up our personal belongings. And so I could release the vehicle to insurance. The woman in the office was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to offer any reasonable assistance or flexibility. Despite explaining that we had already missed work due to the accident, live outside of town, and were down to one vehicle, we were met with zero empathy and rigid responses that felt more like gatekeeping than customer service. Because of their refusal to work with us, my husband had to miss additional work just to retrieve our belongings. At that time, he clearly instructed staff to release the vehicle to insurance, and I also provided authorization directly. Fast forward to Monday and the vehicle is STILL sitting on their lot because they had not released it, despite multiple authorizations. This forced yet another interruption to my husband’s workday just to call and repeat the release for a third time. Meanwhile, storage time continued to accumulate. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism was staggering. Policies are one thing, but using them as an excuse to create delays while storage fees add up feels incredibly predatory. When customers are already dealing with trauma, insurance claims, and logistics after an accident, the last thing they need is a towing company creating extra hurdles instead of solutions. If you have any choice in who handles your vehicle, I strongly recommend choosing anyone else.

Code Red towing was great. On a small school field trip to Bruneau Dunes, I locked my keys in the car. Cell service was almost nonexistent. I got a call to AAA, then couldn’t get a signal. They were unable to reach me for updates, so I wasn’t sure if/when they were coming. We were so glad to see the driver pull up! He had the car open quickly, and we were back to the school in time for parent pickup!

Code red is my go to for all my towing needs! I have used this company for years! I refuse to let any other towing company touch any of my personal, or work cars. Always been so nice, and treated my cars with extra care. Thanks Code Red!
