Abanti regularly pays better prices than CMC which is right down the road. Always call here first before you take your appliances and shred materials elsewhere. I've been coming to Abanti for over 10 years now and they are a growing organization with lots of excellent employees. Overall, the place is well run, organized and efficient every time I show up. Sometimes it can get a little busy and hectic because of all the customers coming in at once. It's been really nice to see this yard hold its own and grow over the years. Congratulations Abanti!

After weighing my steel I was told to pull outside the gate because of the number of vehicles waiting. I pull off wait a minute and ask for an update and I am told I'll have to walk up and get my money.. that's great except for I had more scrap to unload on the smaller scale and was denied access to it. Worried about getting off and rushing completely wasted my time and loss of money not to mention this load of crap is stuck in the back of my truck now. I am told a different time for closing the smaller scale depending on the day and who I am speaking with. Whoever is managing this group of men needs to do some more training and focus on how to treat the customers who are using the facility which in turn is how they're able to cash a paycheck. It is not my job as a customer to try and explain why your employees think they can close the gate earlier than the closing time listed. I don't see where anyone should be made to pull away from the scale when they're materials are on it and told they will just have to walk up and get their money and unable to unload the rest of the items for the scale. I read the other review's on here some from years ago and this has been a problem and nothing has been done yet! I told you MY side of MY experience with YOUR company and employees. They should leave the gates open and not close them until the time listed! If you want to stop at 4:25 CHANGE the time so all your CUSTOMERS KNOW!

Gave a motorcycle away off of the property they would not take the issue. Is the lady saying that Santana would ban me for doing business but I was literally just being nice to somebody saying if they could use it they could have it. It’s totally worth being banned from there And if you want a good local Scrap shop that is open every single day and not lazy they don’t want to get off go to Mohawk then boys out there are ready to work and they pay the same amount. Also, I could suggest Berman Brothers. Or literally any other scrapyard besides these people, they are so rude and I told her straight up. I’ll be nice to whoever I want to whenever I want to if you got a problem with it banned me now lol so needless to say I won’t be going back there they are worthless people to deal with and I don’t have time for rude people. If I wanna be nice to somebody I will get over it.
