Girl up front was friendly, I had a couple junk cars left out on rail road tracks and had proper paperwork from officers deeming cars were legally mine!! However this little kid came out from the back and was rude and decided I was trying to dump stolen vehicles off and ignorantly stated " all I need to hear" as he let me know without saying it, that im a liar and thief, "incorrectly" and turned away good recycling scrap cars and he works at a scrap yard, lol, if you live more then 2 miles away I suggest taking anything to another venue, place is ran by a bunch of big snobby kids with no customer skills and should be out in the yars and not handling customers what so ever, and this is after their sister site 26 miles away sent me there personally!! Other then front desk gal, have absolutely nothing positive to say about Sims in rancho , DO T TAKE SCRAP THERE

i came here because sim's downtown location was extremely crowded with long wait times. another guy in line said that the rancho cordova location was less crowded, so i made the 25 minute drive to rancho. also, i think that the 12th avenue location caters more to the large commercial/industrial guys and the rancho location is better set up for us small scale recyclers. there were only a couple of other guys there when i arrived, but i was the first to unload.<br><br>i compared prices between sims and universal service recyclers. sims is way better, e.g.:<br><br>$2.00/lb for yellow brass vs $.70/lb;<br>$.44/lb for dirty aluminum vs $.20/lb;<br>$.38/lb for clean lead vs $.30; and<br>$.12/lb for car batteries vs $.05.<br><br>also the staff here are very friendly and willing to help.
