My first experience dealing with CoPart due to a total loss of my vehicle. I was informed they would call me before picking up my vehicle (by the insurance company and CoPart). These people didn’t call me they just showed up and picked up the car. I didn’t remove my license plate. As I was unsure. Had they called me like they said they would. This post probably would not be here. The yard lady at the 51st Ave location found my plate and didn’t bring my personalized plate holder. She stated that she advised her guys to throw out personal effects. I informed her that no one called me like I was told they would. She said it’s in the trash. I asked her to retrieve my license plate holder or she can tell me what trash it’s in and I can go get it. She leaves and comes back with it. She tossed it on the counter and didn’t hand it to me. Very unprofessional in a place of business. Her GM (Ruby) stated she reviewed the cameras and it appears that both parties are upset. She stated that there is not anything she can do and a resolution can not be reached. So apparently this type of behavior is prohibited when protocol isn’t being followed. Very unprofessional. I can see why they have bad reviews. This place the people don’t wear name tags or badges either. Ruby (GM) put the blame on the insurance company. Insurance company stated CoPart is supposed to call me before picking up the vehicle. I informed Ruby I was going to leave this review. She didn’t seem to care at all. Very bad experience with CoPart and I reported this to the insurance company as well. Customer service has gone done and these people have no empathy for anyone and are not mindful of what a person is going through. Instead they tolerate this type of behavior of their employees.

Do not buy from Copart. This auction company allows sellers to list damaged or fixed vehicles as “clean,” which is misleading and risky for buyers. On top of that, they charge numerous fees that make the final cost far higher than expected—often not worth the purchase at all.<br><br>Title processing is another major issue. Copart repeatedly mishandles title documents, and even after paying all fees, you may still be unable to transfer ownership of the vehicle.<br><br>Customer service is extremely frustrating. Their call centers are located overseas, and you cannot speak with anyone locally in the U.S. or at the actual yard locations. Issues go unresolved, and accountability is lacking.<br><br>Overall, this experience can end up costing you far more money, time, and stress than anticipated. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere and avoiding Copart altogether.

Lied to me about the damage to the car. Primary damage says normal wear and no secondary damage, I took it to the dealer for service they say I need a whole new engine. I would not recommend buying from this yard at all and in the video they send before it was shipped it looked perfectly fine on the dashboard it arrived and now the dash is a Christmas tree light show. Complete scam just put in my total refund ticket and waiting to get some where with it because this is ridiculous.
