After two tires popped on the highway outside of Frankfort, Pinky’s was able to tow me home to Louisville and recommended a 24/7 tire shop to help repair the damage. Kalebe was extremely helpful and offered to stay with us at the tireshop until fixed/we felt safe. Offered to get us food/drinks if we needed any. Kalebe was available immediately after we called him and saved us so much time and hassle. Highly recommend.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Pinky’s Towing Company. I live in an apartment complex, and when I went outside today, my car was gone. The apartment office told me it had been towed for “expired tags.” My registration is NOT expired. The towing company provided a photo showing my license plate without a registration sticker. I have no idea what happened to the sticker — it could have fallen off or been stolen — but my registration is fully up to date, and I have proof. When I called, I was told that regardless of whether my registration was expired or not, they “have to go by the sticker” and would not release my vehicle unless I paid the fee. I went in person with proof of valid registration and proof that the sticker had been removed from the paperwork. They still refused to release my vehicle unless I paid $170. What made the situation worse was the dismissive attitude I received. After explaining that something could have happened to the sticker, the woman in the office said people “shouldn’t be stealing stickers because they have VIN numbers on them” and that she found it hard to believe a sticker could have been stolen. When I said I don’t check the back of my car every single day, she told me it was the driver’s responsibility to do that. Instead of verifying the actual registration status before towing, they rely solely on whether a small sticker is visible and then refuse to correct the situation even when shown proof. Towing first and forcing payment later, despite valid documentation, feels predatory and unfair.

There is nothing like being stuck on the side of the road for 6 hours in 13 degree weather in a car with no heat. 2 tow truck companies came incapable of towing it leaving us being and waiting for insurance to find us another tow company. We called to find SOMEONE ourselves and they showed up in under 25 minutes, loaded quickly, Professionally and kindly. Our driver Brad's concern was for us and our children. I could not of asked for better service. Dependable and knew the area. Thank you!
