I’m leaving this review based on a recent experience while picking up parts on behalf of a friend’s business.<br>I’m local to the area and was very close to the location, but Google Maps directed me to an empty lot and indicated I had arrived. The actual storefront was about a block back on the opposite side of the street, which wasn’t clear from the navigation.<br>Because the business was close to closing time, I called for clarification and simple landmarks so I could get there quickly. Unfortunately, the phone interaction was frustrating. The gentleman I spoke with repeatedly talked over me and did not seem to listen when I explained that I was nearby, just misdirected by GPS. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just a clear landmark so I could locate the storefront before closing.<br>The tone of the call felt dismissive and unnecessarily condescending. As someone simply trying to pick up parts for a customer job, that interaction made the situation more stressful than it needed to be.<br>When I arrived, there was a woman in the store who appeared kind and welcoming. I would have preferred to communicate with her, as the initial phone interaction set a tone that didn’t feel customer oriented.<br>To be clear:I did successfully pick up what I came for, and I appreciate that the item was available. However, customer service especially over the phone when someone is trying to find your location matters.<br>If directions are commonly confusing due to GPS placement, providing a clear landmark upfront could prevent situations like this in the future.<br>I likely would not return personally unless necessary, but I hope this feedback is taken constructively.
