Jim was amazing! He diagnosed and fixed my car the same day it was dropped off. When I called him a couple days later to tell him about another issue, he had me drop it off and fixed it that day without charge (since it was related to the initial problem). Very personable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

Took my Kia Soul here a couple times, but the most recent visit really cemented that I want to continue going here for most automotive issues. As a woman I struggle to find a mechanic that doesn’t try to take advantage of me or talk down to me. At Mechanix, that doesn’t happen. Pricing is fair, repairs are transparent, and I genuinely believe that if for ANY reason they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with your car, they would tell you. They wouldn’t make up something just to take your money from you like so many other places do. I’ll definitely be returning.

The folks here have always taken good care of us, been coming here for about 5 years. This time it turned out to be a loose wire connection. They told me about another part that sounds off and may be going, but didn't try to make me get it done today, and I only had to pay for the diagnostic (which was totally reasonable for a few hours of them looking into an unknown electrical issue and making sure there wasnt anything else causing the intermittent shorts)
