Yesterday the recycling bin wasn't collected so I called Norfolk Cares to submit a ticket for it to get collected. An hour later it was closed. I spoke to a Norfolk Cares representative who claimed the recycling truck went down 50th St at 8:30 am yesterday, but it did not. The truck went down the dead segment of 50th, but not the side that connects Colley to Killam. The trucks always get to this side in the late afternoon. I can understand that my recycling was missed, but the supervisor at TFC shouldn't lie claiming my street was serviced at 8:30.

Seems like this company goes out of there way to receive bad review points. Here you can see one of their drivers camping out in the left lane causing traffic problems as we have to merge with right lane traffic to get around. I'm just wondering who the genius was that came up with the idea of placing hundreds of dollars in advertising on a truck and then purposely disobeying the law and placing families in danger to show off who you are.

I signed up for their service immediately once our county discontinued recycling. Things used to be great but last couple of months my recycling is never picked up on designated day. I always have to can multiple times. Last week when they didn’t pick up, I decided to cancel. When I called to cancel they said I had to put the request in writing with the reason why I was canceling. I explained my frustration via email and they just emailed back that my service was canceled, not another word. I emailed back that I found it amusing that they wanted to know why I was canceling but didn’t acknowledge the poor service. They also didn’t answer that email.
