Now I see why their number of stars are so low. They were going to charge me $345 to get my car unstuck from the little wooden curb/edge-type thing you see pictured here, where the rear tires wouldn't budge and my front wheels kept spinning in place (and deeper and deeper) in the rocky gravel. Not to mention, they had to take more of my information than I thought would be necessary just to finally give that quote.<br><br>When I said no thank you, they asked how much was in my budget to pay for the service, in case they could work out a discount. I said for something like that, I would think it would be around $50, if that. But definitely something under $100. They said they couldn't accommodate that.<br><br>I then called another local company, further away but with all 5-star reviews, and before even seeing the pictures and without any of my information needed yet, they said something like that would start at $100, depending on the difficulty. Of course still not ideal, but certainly better than $345!!! And when that second place saw the pictures (which this place had also seen), they agreed it should be really easy to get out. Unfortunately, they'd told me after checking with their driver that they wouldn't be able to assist today. But FORtunately, while I was waiting in those few minutes for them to get back to me, I was finally able to get it out myself, after doing some quick Googling and using some pieces of cardboard I thankfully happened to have on hand.<br><br>Yes, it ended up being ***just*** that easy. And quick. And these folks were going to charge me $345. Pfft.<br><br>So, thankfully no tow company ended up being needed and no money wasted on something so trivial, but at least now I know if I ever do have a need of that kind of service, not to call this one.
