Skimmed Loads or Operator Error<br><br>I brought multiple pre weighed loads and one of their employees seems to be making an awful lot of errors.<br><br>Management will erroneously claim that they don't dump until you agree on the amount, which is patently false. If the skimmer is on the scales they will wisk away your material before you can read your check and decline.<br>If management cared they could see them doing this.<br><br>At this time it should be noted that it appears the manager Ken is usually not onsite when they are running the skim.<br><br>I caught the same employee on three separate occasions back to back shorting Brown Glass, then Plastic, and Lastly my aluminum. The last load we specifically went in to see if we could bait him and it worked. He shorted 7 lbs of Aluminum about 11 dollars. It was immediately refused and he told me to not come there since I don't agree with the weight. Next, I was told by the very large threatening, and intimidating man that he could "rob me if he wanted " and take anything he wanted from me and there is nothing I could do and it wouldn't be for a barrel of Aluminum. I let him know I am a customer and don't take kindly to his threats. He added 'that I wasn't a customer since he paid me. Someone help that make sense.<br><br>In the end, I had to solicit the proof from another employee that carried the aluminum after it was shorted. I was then reluctantly paid for the rest of my CRVs.<br><br>The checks can be cashed at local stores so they skim throughout the day and cut a check to themselves when the timing is right, when he has shaved enough throughout the day and made his check fatter. So they can cut a check in BevMo name or anybody they want to use to cash it. They know when the dumpsters will be hauled away and finally weighed so they can cut a check at a convenient time to themselves, nobody is the wiser. I can assure you no one makes this many mistakes and it is more likely he is stealing.<br><br>Regardless, of whether or not he is skimming or just forgetting entire barrels of weight, the customer IS BEING RIPPED OFF. So far management, since the wonderful longtime lady manager retired and Ken H began, has shown no concern for this employees poor behavior. No apology was ever given. If you catch them they will ask you to not come there. At least the employee stealing doesn't want anybody who weighs their loads to come there anymore. Until he is gone or off scales, the public is definitely being ripped off by using Valcore. Sadly, Valcore doesn't seem to care since they are the last in Solano.<br><br>It should be remarked that all loads are pre weighed then mixed to appear as if sorting is happing. We have no problems with other recycle centers matching our weights only this place in Vallejo. If you can, it is best to AVOID VALCORE until they can be fined and caught for theft. If Valcore reaches out or corrects this problem, we will be sure to update everyone in Benicia/Vallejo. We would love to continue doing business with Valcore since they are a non profit, but our margins are too small to accept the theft. For now Consumer Fraud....Beware!
