Today my car was taken away, and I guess that’s normal, but the staff were very rude — especially the woman. My English was not very good because I’ve only been in the U.S. for three months with a green card. She showed clear disrespect toward me because I didn’t understand the language in some moments. In the video, you can see that they towed a car that had its hazard lights on, and the driver was standing right next to it. But that didn’t help — they still took the car.

Let’s be honest, mostly anyone coming here left their car where they shouldn’t have. The tow-away signs are there for a reason.

I had a bit of a strange experience here though, I show up and walk in to their Office and stand there for a moment, waiting for someone to invite me to the window or give me some direction. The last thing I will ever do is walk up to a window without receiving the okay to do so as that’s just rude in my opinion. They could have been finishing up some work or simply weren’t ready so I default to being polite like this.

As soon as they were able to, the clerk told me I didn’t have to wait and to go to the window. I simply thought I could go up to the window of the person talking to me at that point in time, not realizing they were pointing out a specific window.

The clerk then got rude and told me to go to “THAT WINDOW”.

Later while I’m waiting this clerk proceeds to talk about me to their coworker, while I can hear them, bringing in my race as a reason why I somehow misunderstood them and that I was so rude to her for misunderstanding her.

Maybe this facility needs better instruction inside on which window, or their employees should do better to direct their guests and not get mad if someone misunderstands them. It would help reduce the absolutely horrid, helpless most feeling people feel when going in there… even if it is our fault…

Terrible isn’t even the best word I could use…yall these people towed my parents car WITH my grandma in the vehicle!!!!! It’s one thing to tow a car but to do it and not notice someone is in there is absolutely crazy! My poor grandma is of age and wasn’t able to walk around downtown while my parents were getting something taken care of, so she wanted to wait in the car until they were done. Please be careful everyone.
