On October 3, 2015, my car broke down in the middle of Airline Hwy and Labarre Rd at night. AAA dispatched United Towing to assist me. When the driver called, I explained the urgency — my car was stuck in traffic and the police were already on site.<br><br>When I briefly put him on hold to speak with the officer, he hung up. When I called back, he cursed at me and told me not to call again.<br><br>This was not only unprofessional but dangerous, as I was stranded in a hazardous spot. I’ve reported this to AAA so they are aware of how their member was treated.<br><br>If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company at all costs.

After dealing with this company today, it has become very clear to me that they are breaking several laws in the state of LA, to extort money from non suspecting drivers. I’ve done my homework, and will be filing the police report and pursuing charges to the fullest extent on this driver and his helper in their practice of predatory towing. That’s correct, look it up. This company and the driver I encountered today are crooks and deserve everything coming to them. Not to mention, the damage that was done to my vehicle while they towed it but denied doing it. I’ll be pursuing payments in those damages as well. Notice also, no display of a state tag, which makes this vehicle not even legitimate to be on state roadways. This company is going to wish they never hooked my vehicle today.

I don't typically do reviews and this is way overdue. We were stuck with a flat in a parking garage at a hotel with no lights, just not the place to change a flat with a jack past its prime. After multiple companies took the job and no showed Direct Towing agreed and was out to us and had us fixed in less than 45 minutes after waiting hours for others. We really appreciate their fast service. I don't remember his name, but this was two months ago and his kindness, professionalism, and speed are still appreciated enough for me to still do a Google review well after. Definitely your go to towing company in NOLA.
