I was stuck on the side of the road with my 8 month old & used my insurance roadside assistance to pay for the cost of towing my car 1/2 a mile to my house because of a flat tire & they wouldn’t come out unless I paid $275 (my insurance covers up to $200 to tow) so I would’ve had to pay an extra $75 for them to tow 1/2 a mile, if even, because they didn’t want to drive the 25 minutes to where I was located. They claimed I was over 20 miles away but when I gps’d it from my location it would’ve only taken 24 minutes from the shop address.<br><br>The sad part is that the company that charged us less (under $200) came all the way from Columbia (over 45 minutes away) to tow my car home.
