I usually have a good experience at the O'Reilly's. Today was a little different because an employee stopped assisting me and went outside to do a code reader on a car for another customer. I felt a little offended. I mentioned it the other associate working there. His reply was, "We are short staffed after 2pm." I told him that is understandable but first come, first serve. I asked him to remind his coworker later without making a scene. He shrugged me off I feel, so I making a review and showing the time and date I was there as proof.

After years of being a shade tree mechanic, I have learned that is simply not the case. These guys have knowledge, but acknowledge they don't have all the answers. They don't make you feel dumb, and they aren't pushy. They have what you need at competitive prices. Sometimes even what you need for your boat!
