FINAL UPDATE: MY TRANSMISSION IS NOW BLOWN!!! Will not roll in neutral with the clutch engaged, fights me to get into gear with the engine running but does not with the engine off. Not driveable as is. READ FOR THE FULL STORY. I brought my s2000 to this shop several times for minor jobs with no issues, however once I got my clutch done it was a total disaster. They installed an OEM clutch kit with an ACT flywheel improperly (there’s a ton of vibration in the pedal due to improper torque specs) instead of owning up to their issue Kun was hesitant from the start. First he said it wasn’t there, then I brought it back a few weeks later as it got worse and finally he admitted it was there. He said it was the motor mounts to which I told him it clearly wasn’t but he said he would not charge me for the labor of the installation and if the problem persisted we’d go from there. WELL HE DID CHARGE ME FOR THE LABOR AND IT GETS EVEN WORSE! They told me the car was ready and when I picked it up it was thrown in a corner under a sap tree collecting sap like it was a piece of garbage with the tow hook still on the vehicle when they have always taken it off in the past…. AND THE PEDAL IS STILL VIBRATING. THEY DID NOT TOUCH THE CAR THE SECOND TIME I DROPPED IT OFF. On top of that THEY STRIPPED THE THREADS OF THE TOW HOOK AND DID NOT MENTION IT! IT IS NOW STUCK ON MY CAR AND THEY DID NOT RETURN MY CALL. Thanks to Kun and his team I now have a messed up clutch and a tow hook stuck to the chassis after spending $2,000+ dollars with them. GARBAGE!!!!<br><br>UPDATE: Kun finally called me back admitting he was not supposed to charge me the $400 for the motor mount installation but WILL NOT REFUND ME UNLESS I TAKE THE REVIEW DOWN. He pressed me to reinstall the stock flywheel that he still has. He offered to take apart the entire clutch and see if that was the issue and if it was he’d order a new clutch kit to make himself look good BUT THE VIBRATION IS SO BLATANT IT’S CLEAR IT WASN’T TORQUED PROPERLY!!! THERE’S ZERO NEED TO TAKE IT APART TO CONFIRM! He’s just trying to get around this ONCE AGAIN by saying he “tried” to help me by taking a look at it to save his reputation!! ANYONE WHO HAS HALF A BRAIN KNOWS THIS CLUTCH IS MESSED UP JUST BY FEELING THE INSANE AMOUNT OF VIBRATION IN THE PEDAL FROM INCORRECT TORQUE SPECS!!! HE REFUSES TO OWN UP TO HIS MISTAKE!!!!<br><br>Ps: thanks Joe (the receptionist) for lying about checking under my seat for my wallet (I live 40 min away so I can’t do it myself) on July 4th it was right there the whole time and I missed a function thanks to you buddy.<br><br>STAY AWAY!!!!<br><br>RESPONSE: I was never told about the warranty policy of the initial clutch kit but the motor mounts he suggested I purchase to fix the vibration were from ballade (the same reputable company I ordered the OEM clutch kit from and took extensive photos of and posted to the S2KI forum to confirm everything was legit so that’s total BS. To call me an extortionist is laughable, I called the shop up yesterday to try once and for all to work something out and was told he was out to lunch. I asked for a call back and got none. A further testament to why I think he’s a scam artist. I will give Kun and his team a chance to make this right and bring the car in for a final time. I NEVER hard launch this car and babied it throughout the break in period.
