12/1/2025 update -Owner did not offer to buy back car. -Owner did not offer to repair anything except the fuel sender that was already mentioned below. -I'm appalled that after two months of this review being up. That there was absolutely no communication and only the response that are not truthful. ----------------------------------- I purchased a 1954 Oldsmobile 88 from Michael and Adam. Based on Adam’s video, the vehicle appeared to be in excellent condition—exactly what I was looking for: a completed car that was ready to drive. I noticed a couple of issues in the video and asked the dealer to address them before shipping. The vehicle was shipped quickly, though a breakdown with the transport company caused a five-day delay. No problem—delays happen—but I was glad when the car finally arrived. Delivery Experience • Michael stayed in touch throughout the weekend to coordinate the delivery, which I appreciated. • However, when the vehicle arrived, there was a large paint crack/chip near the front hood. I immediately contacted Michael to determine whether this was caused by transport. After speaking with Adam, I was told the next day that the paint damage had always been there, but Adam didn’t mention it in the video because he “didn’t think it was an issue.” That’s unacceptable for a $60,000 vehicle that was presented as immaculate. Mechanical and Functional Issues • On the first drive, I noticed that the fuel gauge and transmission drive indicator (which I specifically asked to be repaired) were still not working. When I called, I was told the shop manager was on vacation and the part was backordered. • Once parked in my garage, the vehicle began leaking in several places. Despite being advertised as having gone through a “multi-point inspection,” it currently has a rear main seal leak, oil pan leak, brake fluid leak, transmission leak, and a faulty power steering pump. o When I raised this with Michael, he insisted it never leaked while in their possession. However, closer review of the original photos shows evidence of leaks that appear to have been wiped down. • The dealership did send me a replacement fuel sender, but it was the wrong size (5/16” instead of the required 3/8”). This mistake cost me additional time and money, as my mechanic had already dropped the fuel tank before discovering the part didn’t fit. Additional Concerns • The windows are misaligned, making the vehicle unsuitable for driving in rain or damp weather, as moisture could damage the interior. • I have already spent $2,000 in repairs, with more needed. Having owned many classic cars, I understand imperfections—but this vehicle was explicitly sold as “fully completed” and in “immaculate shape,” which it is not. Warranty and Business Practices The dealership advertises a “FREE WARRANTY WITH EVERY CLASSIC.” This is false advertising. They refuse to honor this claim, and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and considering legal options. Unsurprisingly, the dealership is not BBB-accredited due to excessive complaints. In my opinion, this dealership misrepresents its vehicles and does not stand behind its word. The most accurate description of their sales approach is “snake oil”—shiny on the surface, but far from good underneath. My advice: stay far away from this dealership unless you want to overpay for problems disguised as perfection.

This place is incredible. I’ve been looking for my dream car for quite a while before I found Kinion’s. Adam was great to deal with. The car was exactly as described, promptly delivered in a safe enclosed trailer. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for an incredible classic car!

I purchased this 1974 Super Beetle Convertible a couple of weeks ago. But 8 months ago i began my search for a bug… it was the first one that caught my eye and after doing my do diligence I felt secure in buying from Kinion - They know classic cars, and what it takes to hand it from one classic car owner to another... They made the process simple and delivered a vehicle ready for the road - as promised. They know what they’re doing - I couldn’t be happier and secure in the investment I made in this little orange beetle.
