Anderson Automotive has been our go-to shop since my wife and I moved to Iowa, and I can’t say enough good things about their service and work. Whether it’s Ally, Max, or anyone else on their team, we’ve always been treated with respect and received the best service around. They’re incredibly accommodating, always getting us in quickly and properly diagnosing any issues. What stands out most is their honesty—they give realistic advice about whether a repair can wait or needs immediate attention, which we really appreciate. I’ve tried a couple of other shops in town, and none compare to Anderson Automotive when it comes to both price and quality of service. I will always bring my vehicles here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and dependable auto care.

Anderson Automotive is great!! they have helped me so much with my old 2008 Ford Explorer, they surely have made the truck have a long life. I recently purchased a new vehicle and took it for a general inspection; Ally and Max certainly go the extra mile with their excellent customer support as well as explaining in detail the issues my Explorer had back in the day. They are friendly enough people, but the description of the van they sold me was hot garbage. All sales are final so the only recourse I have is a bad review so here it is. My 2012 Dodge Caravan was a replacement for similar van that was in an accident 2 weeks prior to purchasing this one. I needed something I could afford and knew I may have to buy a cheaper van and just fix any issues that may come up. Now I am expected some minor issues or potentially major ones, but the amount of issues was frankly shocking. The first issue was value lifters, guess what I had some bad ones that needed fixing. Ok well there is a nice large expense right out of the gate. The very next issue was that there was only 1 of the 4 engine mounting bolts that was holding anything in place. So now we are on thousands of dollars of repairs and all for a van with "no mechanical issues". But it gets better because the review promised a newly and professionally rebuilt transmission, well wouldn't you know within 6 months I was replacing that rebuilt transmission. How does a reputable mechanic get this many things wrong and try to pass it off as in working order? So now I've dropped $7k+ in repairs on a $4,500 van, and all because I read the glowing review coming from some other local folks I thought I could trust.....turns out it was just all hot garbage. If anybody tries to deny this then I'll produce any documents needed, bills of sale or repair bills etc. I bought this van in late Nov or early Dec 2023, by June I was replacing a transmission that was garbage from the get go. Buyer beware, test drive your car to another shop and have them give it a once over.
