I’ve had machine shop work done here once before and the team was amazing! The lady that answered the phone was professional and the younger guy in the shop was fantastic! I felt great knowing I had a good machine shop in my area. This time around has been horrible. Called three separate days and each day I got Bryan. He’s had a bad attitude each time and actually lied to me the last call saying the machine shop guy wasn’t there, then proceeded to put me on hold and transfer me. I know it’s a shop, I know they have work to do, but not being able to spare all of 2min to answer a customers question is ridiculous. Bryan is the reason I will not be coming back.

The Olwein Arnold machine shop and store has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced! Between the shop and store the employees and manager went above and beyond there duties and made me feel like my business mattered to them. They now have a life time customer with me and my son. Will drive the hour to buy parts and use the machine shop services anytime , thank you all so very much. I live by vinton and that Arnold store seem like I was a bother Ryan works in the machine shop and this man went above and beyond his job duties to help me and my son. I surely hope the company recognizes this man for all that he does to support this company and his duties, thanks for your honesty , with ethic and the experience you gave!

Was told when we dropped head off that it would 2-3 weeks to complete, 12 weeks later finally got it back after multiple phone calls. Just needed minimal machine work done and valve job nothing fancy. That was the last time I will take machine work to Bryan at Arnold motor in Oelwein.
