I usually don’t leave long reviews, but Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission’s collision center honestly deserves it. From start to finish, they made what could’ve been a super stressful situation feel completely manageable. I got into a small accident that messed up the front end of my Chevy, and I was dreading the whole process — insurance, estimates, waiting, wondering if the car would ever look the same again. The second I dropped it off, though, I could tell I was in good hands. The staff there were so friendly and down-to-earth. They treated me like a person, not just another claim number. They kept me updated the entire time — texts, calls, pictures of progress — which really helped me relax. I never had to chase anyone down for answers. When the insurance company was being slow to approve something, the Hendrick team handled it all and made sure everything got covered that should’ve been. You can tell they’ve done this a thousand times and actually care about getting it right. The work itself? Flawless. My car looked absolutely brand new when I picked it up. Paint matched perfectly, panels lined up exactly right, and even the interior was spotless — they clearly went above and beyond with detailing before giving it back. You could tell they take pride in their work. What I appreciated most was how honest and straightforward they were. No surprise costs, no pushy upsells, no “we found more damage” nonsense. Just honest people doing excellent work. They finished a couple of days earlier than expected too, which was a nice surprise. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk to the body techs — was just good people. You can feel the difference between a shop that’s just trying to move cars through, versus one that actually cares about their reputation and their customers. Hendrick definitely falls into that second category. If you ever need body work done, I can’t recommend them enough. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Seriously, save yourself the headache — take it to Hendrick Chevrolet Shawnee Mission Collision Center. They’ll treat you (and your car) like family.
