I was traveling on 1-70 when all of a suddenly, lots of dashboard warning lights and tones went off plus I lost use of the speedometer. Fortunately, I could see the Wamego exit sign so obviously I got off the highway. Pulled over, got my phone out and found 4th Street Auto. I called frantically trying to explain what had just happened. I was blessed to have the calming and kind voice of Mike on the other end. He offered a couple of different ideas on what he thought the problem was.... this was offered to me for free. I asked if I came into his shop could he take a look at the car, sure he replied. I arrived and instantly I was Mike's number one priority. He came out to the car with his diagnostic meter kit and discovered it was the battery. Which by the way, was his reply when he offered me his free advice. Apparently it was a bad solenoid that was sending too many amps thru. Mike took care of it abd made certain all warning lights were gone off the dashboard. He also asked if I had any other questions or concerns. From the time I frantically called to me pulling out of his shop with everything working correctly was less than an hour. I was treated with pure respect and Mike was very polite and incredibly professional. I live over 100 miles from Wamego, but any of you near there are very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, kind, caring and HONEST person as Mike at 4th Street Auto. Nobody likes car problems, but going to see Mike is the answer. To me...... Mike is excellence in action!!!!
