Honestly I would rate this company negative Stars if it was possible simply because of just ONE employee's disrespectfuI nature! It was the storm on 12/2/25 and i ended up going off of Route 104 just over the New Hampton Town Line I'd slid off the roadway and gotten stuck in a bankment literally on shoulder of road. I was already currently waiting for a friend (with a tow truck of his own) to come and pull me out and while I was waiting a new Hampton officer ( apparently had been called by a "good samaritan") arrived and inquired if I was okay and informed me that there had already been a dispatch made for New Hampton towing to come to the scene and was already inroute. I then kindly explained to the cop about my help was already coming and i even had gps tracking on said help arrival but yet the cop claimed they couldn't leave me on the side of 104.. . FINALLY when New Hampton got there (almost 45 minutes) or more after the officer arrived . Once my vehicle was back onto the road he instructed me to go about a quarter mile down the road to the diner and wait for him in the officer to discuss payment I then did as I was asked and met the officer and the tow guy at the diner. He then told me the cost was going to be $230! I stated to him I did not have that amount of money accessible at the moment I told them that I could certainly swing 80-100 on the spot but not almost 3 times that amount.. when I had asked the tow guy what was the reasoning for such an exorbitantly High price of 230 he then said sorry kid I'm going to have to tow your vehicle claiming I was giving him backlash when simply was inquiring the reasoning for such a unknormally large cost.. the officer then was able to get the tow guy to take the 80 to 100 from me and to make it the payment later in the week when I was paid (mind you this was on a Tuesday night so it was simply a matter of couple days and the balance would be square.) The officer and the tow company followed me to the gas station off of exit 23 and once arriving there when I was inside using the ATM the tow guy then comes in the store and tells me that I have a coolant leak which I was well aware of prior to going off of the road there was no damage from going off of the road I stated him it was pre-existing long story short these guys at New Hampton Towing and Recovery are a freaking scam artist they clearly have some sort of thing worked out with the local police hence why once the officer talked to him about making payment arrangement he was then suddenly willing to do so I don't see how I can be forced into using a tow company that for 1 i did not call nor did I ultimately need or really want (especially when I had another tow already on its way from Simply a half hour away!) Not once ever in my life have I ever had such a rude and disrespectful interaction with a tow company... let alone one that would keep mentioning the same thing about having the officer issue a warrant for arrest if I ran off while driving to both diner and the atm... I asked the overly rude and degrading toq guy for his name (so I could in fact spread the word of this borderline criminal and verall wrongdoing) he then continued to make comments that were unexceptable literally all because I didn't have $230 accessible at that very moment due to just having another large expense come up.

Don't stand by their work, greedy. I had some tires mounted and balanced but they weren't balanced properly and when I brought them back they charged me again to rebalance the tires because I didn't buy the tires from them. That made absolutely no sense, it shouldn't matter where you buy your tires they should still stand behind their work. Last summer I went there to have my air conditioner fixed because it had a leak. They charge me $79 just to put a can of freon in and still couldn't find the leak. They told me to drive it for a while and bring it back and they would charge me again to fix it. So they basically charged me $79 just to put in a $5 can of freon. Just this past week I had a flat tire and brought the tire in to have it plugged, but it was still leaking. When I brought it back to have them fix it again the owner didn't believe me and again wanted to charge me again. Finally with a snotty attitude he said just go ahead and take it. Think I'm going to have to find another mechanic.

Been going their for last 5 years.. had electrical problems, they solved it with a fair price. Brake job at a fair price. They now do everything and at a fair price. Find them to be honest, good and at a fair price. Highly recommend.
