Had the absolute best experience getting our RV towed. We needed to get transmission work so were stuck and the only place that could take work on it was 175 miles in Dickinson. These guys conducted the whole towing experience with the most care and our wonderful people . We felt extremely safe during the whole process and they made sure we got our RV to Dickinson. Truly saved our trip so highly recommend to anyone needing a tow.

To say that Cordell with Alternative Wrecker Service is a lifesaver would be an understatement. We're convinced that if it wouldn't have been for Cordell's knowledge and going above and beyond what he needed to do, we wouldn't have made it alive on our cross-country move from ND to Louisiana. Bear with us, this is a long story. It all started with questionable equipment rented from the local Dickinson Penske agent (third party, not an actual Penske location). Cordell is a contract mechanic for Penske HQ, and they are truly fortunate to have him. It started with Cordell being called by Penske to fix the driver door lock of our moving truck. He got it to somewhat work but it still needed a new locking mechanism, which wouldn't have arrived in time. That was not the lifesaving issue. That occurred 2 days later on Sunday, when we noticed that the oil was low and Penske again dispatched Cordell. He offered to check all fluids and give the truck a check-over after he heard we're moving 1800 miles. All fluids were low, except the transmission fluid, all front wheel lugnuts were lose, one was missing. After fixing those issues, Cordell offered to watch my husband drive to make sure all lights on the truck worked and to check out the car trailer. That's were the real problem was: the car trailer had no brakes. At this point, late Sunday night, Cordell offered to further check out the car trailer because he "had a bad feeling about it." Again, shoddy equipment that wasn't maintained and shouldn't have been rented for some time was not fixable. Cordell again called Penske, told them the car trailer is unsafe with no brakes and no brake fluid, and took it out of service. He arranged for us to pick up a new working car trailer at Penske in Sioux Falls. Long story short: we were very fortunate that Cordell is a contract mechanic for Penske. A true kind person, going above and beyond to make sure we had a safe trip and arrived safe and sound in Louisiana. While we're on the road, he called several times a day to make sure everything's OK and even gave us weather updates. We simply cannot thank him enough and are grateful that we have met him.

When first contacting alternative towing all I needed was to move a wrecked truck a short distant to be able to remove parts before insurance people came to get it and then towed it back to original shop. Very reasonable and there on time as needed . Great guy and his employee who came very professional .Every time I have called Cordell he will send truck or come himself,and if anyone says he doesn't return or answer a call doesn't know how to use a phone. I work in the oil fields of North Dakota and Cordell will be the first ( # 1 ) person I call and know I'll be taken care of.
