The owner, Milton Hutton — who recently purchased this location — frequently receives those who patronize his recycling centers to both train his loyal staff in order to ensure that everyone enjoys a pleasant experience whether it's their 1st or 1000th visit. Milton also appears to pay the highest prices amongst his contemporaries for your scrap metals. With regard to the reviews complaining about inaccurate scales, ignored phone calls, and chronic closed doors: these complaints are obviously connected with the prior owners because I've never come across an occasion where their phone was not answered, the scales were inaccurate, or that they were closed during regular business hours. As an electrical contractor, purchasing wire before it's processed cuts my expenses and has earned my unwaivering loyalty for nearly 40 years. This place is a scam. They offered my parents $0.07/pound of their scrap metal, much of which is high quality and can be used for fabrication and resold at a higher profit. The owner, Milton Hutto, then told them he won't pay them anything because the transport of the metal cost him too much money in hourly wages to his employees. They never agreed to pay his business expenses, they were simply selling scrap. They are senior citizens shutting down their auto restoration business, and he took advantage of them. Milton owes my parents over $600 for the 9000lbs+ of scrap he took. All he sent was a hand written "invoice" with his hourly wages and gas totals, and then told my mom he would give her $100 so she won't be too upset with him. Happy to provide screenshots to anyone who has had a similar experience getting ripped off by Milton.

Wow! The new owners have really turned this place around. The scales are FINALLY accurate! The staff WERE SUPER HELPFUL AND knows what they are doing and had me in and out of there with a pocket full of money within minutes! I’ll definitely be back!
