Salado Auto Shop truly went above and beyond for me. I was stranded on a very dangerous stretch of IH-35 with a blown tire, and they came out quickly and took care of everything. Ivan was an absolute angel — calm, kind, and incredibly service-oriented in a stressful situation. He made me feel safe, explained what he was doing, and treated me with genuine care. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in helping people, not just fixing cars. After this experience, I completely trust Ivan and Salado Auto Shop for any work I need in the future. Salado Automotive went above and beyond for us today. We had a tire issue and they fixed it super fast, which was a huge relief. The guy who helped us was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about helping people—not just getting us in and out. On top of that, he didn’t even make us pay, which says a lot about the kind of business this is. What really stood out was that he also took the time to help stop and assist an elderly man in front of us before even worrying about our situation. On our way to Thanksgiving celebration our motorhome simply died in a vacant lot in Salado. Ivan with Salado Automotive came & diagnosis the issue on Friday at noon, as a fuel pump and fuel filter needed to be replaced. On Saturday at 2:00pm, was able to get the parts and make the repair in the vacant lot. Keep in mind, this involved lowering a 75 gallon gas tank! Ivan and his 2 assistants had us ready to go in a few hours. Ivan called the next day to make sure there were no issues with the repair. We are very pleased with our experience with Ivan from Salado Automotive and will strongly recommend to anyone needing a fair, honest, and reliable auto machanic.
