These guys are great. Let me tell you. I painted a lot of cars. I've restored a lot of cars, but something happened to my most valued possession. One of the Fleet of antique cars I have a 64 Lincoln Continental note, and that was at the old Greenwich service station on May 12th 2025. First time I got to drive the car since October 2023. Because my father had fallen ill and passed away and I was busy with him. So this was the first time I got to drive the car and at that gas station, I opened up the hood and opened up the air cleaner box to put a brand new element, I just filled it up. And some people what year is that, you know, someone even tapped me on the back, and I turned around, had no clue what happened. But I know what happened because someone did something right they tampered with the car I had no idea at the time I start the car up, I idle to the end of the driveway as soon as I stepped on the accelerator pedal, Bang bang Bang bang Bang bang Bang, my motor blue. Getting in the shop, it took 6 weeks to get it in the shop. And then more weeks before we could even get to the car and I walk in the shop just at the right time, they just took the top of the motor off and and I started my cell phone video camera and he took the top of the motor off and I go in there, looking down the combustion chambers to try to figure out what happened and lo and behold wood screws. Embedded in the face of my piston in valves, so the car had to have the engine rebuild CJ is wonderful, senior and junior God bless both of them, they rebuilt my car and some machine shop that they use. I've only driven it once from his shop to to another storage facility where it is. It'll be out in the springtime. April 2025 review: I had another fabulous experience at Classic Auto Body & Mechanical Repairs of Greenwich. These guys are great and always come through for me. Recently, I was dealing with an at-fault claim, and CJ and his team guided both parties toward the best resolution for the issues. Once again, they went above and beyond my expectations, and all parties involved are happy, which should always be the goal. 2024/2025 review: I had an amazing experience with Classic Auto Body of Greenwich and CJ, the owner. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was severely damaged, but CJ and his team restored it to pristine condition in half the expected time. My family has been using their services for 20 years now, and we believe they are the best in the business. From routine maintenance to major bodywork, they offer a wide range of services, including secure vehicle storage. They have a thorough understanding of insurance procedures and help customers save money. The team is friendly, customer-oriented, and highly skilled. I highly recommend Classic Auto Body of Greenwich and CJ for their excellent service and exceptional results!

If you care about the value of your vehicle, you better not bring it here! I accidentally damaged the side of my father's truck when I made a turn too tight and rubbed a pole which was sticking out too far onto the street, scraping the bedside. I chose them because I mistakenly believed they were the best. Before I even discuss the lousy quality of work they did, we spoke to them beforehand and they promised discretion if we paid cash out of pocket, no insurance involvement, and we were clear on that, so we paid cash in full. Fast forward a few years later, my father wants a new truck, so he goes to the dealership and they say there's an accident on record. We were wondering how that's possible, so they show us the Carfax and there it is, the damage Classic Auto "fixed". After saying it would be repaired with discretion, they turn around and stab us in the back, greatly devaluing the truck. I don't understand how anyone can trust a business that so blatantly lies and causes further issues with their customers. Why would anyone bring their vehicle here knowing that you're going to turn around and report even the slightest bit of damage to insurance and devalue their vehicle??? To lie and stab a customer in the back like that is disgusting and unprofessional. On top of that, the work was subpar! The paint was not a great match, one was clearly able to see the difference in the bed of the truck as opposed to the cab, especially in the sun. For the money I paid, I expected better, and I could have brought it just about anywhere else and paid less, elsewhere probably would have done a better job too, and they wouldn't have turned around and reported it to the insurance when it was agreed they wouldn't. This is a dirty, deceitful shop, anybody would be a fool to bring their vehicle here. I only wish I knew how bad this place was ahead of time. Future customers, you are warned, if you want lousy mismatched paintwork, come to Classic Auto! Good luck trying to get decent resale value for your vehicle when you try to sell it or trade it in, because no matter what Classic Auto tells you or how you pay, they'll make sure insurance knows and your vehicle history will be ruined.
