I have no complaints on the residential trash pick up services, aside from I wish yard waste (green cans) were available where I live. But the Auburn transfer station sucks and is a last-resort option for me. The Lincoln transfer station is MUCH cheaper and easier to work with. Worth the drive from Auburn for all but the smallest loads.

Never had a problem at the transfer station or home pick up at our mobilehome park. They have been great for the past 6 yrs, with no issuse. Also much cheaper than the Bay Area

Recology is absolutely the worst company for garbage service that I have ever dealt with. We have been missed numerous times over the past seven years since we moved to Auburn. When I called to report being missed (which means that our entire neighborhood was also missed) I am told it would be Monday before it would be picked up. I was given excuses, such as trucks breaking down, short staffed, etc. So why aren't they out there on the weekend to get caught up and pick up the residences they missed on their pickup day? Even their website is worthless. When I tried to log in to my customer service portal, I realized I needed to change my password. When I was informed that I would get a password reset email to reset my password, it never came. I really hope that the Placer County Board of Supervisors would take action and send this worthless company down the road. We need a garbage service that is dependable all of the time, Recology is definitely NOT that company.
