As a local Montanan, we were treated absolutely like garbage. We felt like we were an inconvenience. Wanted to grab dinner after soaking at Norris. The bartender should be ashamed of herself for her level “of service”. Sorry to bother you into having to do your job instead of playing on your phone. Will not be back.

If you're looking for a true old west bar with great atmosphere, customer service and locals popping in for conversation, this is it. We had a history and present time conversation with owner Hannah and she is a gem! My husband and I have talked about our short couple hours at The Pony Bar in Montana time and time again. We will be back!

This has to be one of my favorite bars in all of Montana. Come prepared wish cash if you don't want to use the ATM they have there. Its a little high of a withdraw fee. Its small, and quaint, and there aren't ALL the options for alcohol you would see in a big town, but it truly is an experience you can't miss if you're passing by.
