Had two loads of compost delivered. Excellent material!!!Tested negative for broadleaf herbicide, which is hard to find these days, and grew enormous, healthy plants!! Good price, efficient delivery. Almost didn’t want to share, because I want to keep it all for myself!!! Had to have more in 2025, and did another test, this time Scott’s vs. Coast of Maine Lobster compost:

I hate posting difficult reviews but I fear I must. We used Scott’s extensively for the first several years we owned our home. His firm did a great job of mowing and snow blowing when we weren’t home. We trusted him. We needed to add loam and reseed our entire lawn. We got a quote from him much higher than what we anticipated (in the $thousands) but decided to move forward because we knew and trusted him. His team came and did their work. Then we received his invoice. It was literally double what was quoted. I called and asked about it and he told me I had authorized his team to double the amount of loam (absolutely not true). I drove up to meet with him to try to understand, and he kept repeating that I had authorized his team to double the amount. In shock I came home and discussed it with my husband and we decided to pay all of it because we wanted to be good neighbors. We were devastated. And completely taken advantage of. Since then we’ve heard many similar stories. I’m personally sad because we thought he was a friend. And we lost a friend over deceit and greed.
