Update: 7/12/23 I bought a car out of state in June 2023, and it came "as is." I took it to Joe, a couple of weeks later, to do an oil change and give it a once over to see if he found an issues, and unfortunately he did. He discovered that the front struts had been leaking for some time and would need to be replaced. He told me to call the dealership where I bought the car to see what they would do to help me. I told him they most likely wouldn't do anything, since the vehicle was sold "as is." But we talked more, and he convinced me to call them. In the end, the dealership agreed to buy the new struts for me and Joe will put them in. (The out of state dealership has a standing account with a parts store that we also have in the area. So they called my local store and had the struts put on their account. I just had to go pick them up.) I was totally shocked by that outcome. After I left D & M Auto, I went over to the parts store and the new struts were waiting for me to pick up. That saved me a lot of money and it wouldn't have happened if Joe hadn't convinced me to call the dealership. So another reason why I already love D & M Auto. Original review, 10/11/2021: I've been using this business for about 22 years. I love D & M Auto. Joe is extremely honest and trustworthy and has competitive hourly rates. He's a great mechanic who does a great job.
