My children and grandchildren went to the Mere Point Oyster Farm. We had a blast!! My 6 yr old granddaughter who considers herself an oyster connoisseur was very pleased. She and I sat in the front row of the raft and she had a smile on her face the whole way there. We have memories for a life time!!!

We took the farm tour from Portland, what an incredible open water ride With Captain Kevin and mate Kate, on Buzzworthy. It looked like a big bumble be. We cruised out to Merepoint Oyster farm and met Kelly. She was the most , informative, down to earth, knowledgeable Oysterwoman you could or should ever meet. Such wonderful people to meet. Kelly knew her oyster business like she slept, ate , drank dreamed about them. You could tell by her passion the love she had for the hard work she is doing. This is definitely a must do. Her shucking ability, the briney, too me green olive taste of the oysterand the fact that the meat and liquor cover the whole inside of the shell made the trip even better. Thank you for the experience Kevin, Kate and the host Kelly. Keep doing what you do making the world a better place. Just a side note I being Native American could feel the love of life, nature and the respect for the environment. Much love and Wanisi , Mike

Best Oysters around! Fresh and delicious. A squeeze of fresh lime juice...heavenly. Perfect end to a great day paddling in upper Casco Bay. Thank you Jesse!
