I went in for an alignment which he charged me $75.00 for. I noticed the back wheels were out of line which he charged me $75.00 more for. The backend lined up, but he said the front tie rod wouldn't come lose, he was going to have hit it with a torch to get the nuts off to align the front. (You can't correctly align a car without loosening the Tie rods) Which He charged me more for. He kept it over the weekend. When I went to pick my car up he said he fixed the alignment. I asked if everything came lose and was fixed and aligned. He said yes and gave me a slip saying nut fixed $90.00. So now I'm into it around 240.00 plus tax. When I left I noticed the car still pulled to the right. I thought Maybe it was from the uneven wear on tires from being out of alignment. I should have taken it back but I figured he would charge me to put it back up on the rack. So I drove my car for a few weeks hoping the tires would even out if they were wore some. The car started pulling so much to the right that it destroyed the tires. One side was worse so I had to have my good rear tires put on the front and an old tire I had mounted to replace the totally, destroyed, belt showing front tire caused by Moore's fake alignment, put on by another business. $35.00 I had to buy new tires for the back, Around 220.00 $$$$ I had to take it to another shop to get it aligned. They said the Tie Rod nut was stuck and that they could see where Someone had hit it with a torch but didn't take the nut off, in fact they could tell by the condition of the nut that no one had even touched it with a tool and it had never been loosened. In fact Moore's had heated it so much that it basically melted the nut to the bolt. They couldn't get it lose And They were going to have to heat it with a torch to Hopefully get lose. If not I would have to pay for that alignment + the cost of the new tie rods.? Luckily they were able to get them loose and I got the car aligned for around $90.00 No new tie rods needed. So for an alignment that should have cost me maybe $90.00 it ended up costing me. Around $400.00 to get it fixed.? P.S. I had a the front end of my truck aligned by him around 6 months before. He aligned it but told me I needed new shocks for my truck. That it would cost me into the upper HUNDREDS to get the parts and to fix it. I wasn't having problems with my shocks, and it's usually the struts that need replacing. 1 bolt on top, 1 bolt on the bottom. My ripoff antenna was tingling a little bit. I turned down the shock replacement and told him I would look online for struts if I decided to have the work done. I didn't realize it at the time but The front wheel bearings on the truck Did need replacing which he should have noticed when aligning my truck. The wheels move and shake sideways and cause play in the steering wheel causing the truck hard to keep straight. I had thought it was just the alignment messing up. which should have be obvious to Moore's when they had it up on the rack. They missed that and I had to take it somewhere else to help get my replacement front wheel bearings and hubs put on. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that the wheel bearing issue could have been a unfortunate miss on Moore's part before taking my car to him. Besides, I had gotten a couple of recommendations from a tire stores and customers. They were wrong or mislead, Moore's is a terrible auto body shop and will rip you off. I've been hearing people's personal horror stories about his work, lies to them, and rip offs. For example doing the same thing they did to me only that time the customer observed the Fake work Moore's was doing and Moore's made the mistake of telling the guy he needed all new parts for something that they were all old and messed up. The customer informed him that he new he was trying to rip him off and that, those old parts were all brand new and had just been put into the truck.
