Do you like to be lied to? Do you want your bumper installed with sheet metal screws? If you answered yes to both of these questions this is the place for you. Replay to (fukenitdit) your right the Philips self tapping screw was on the parts description on the one I ordered.

Do not buy from these people, my boyfriend bought a 4 stroke boat motor a few months ago, it has been in the shop every since, the motor was ruined, 9 bent valves, and numerous other issues. They told him they knew it was a good motor and run great, but couldn't show him, because the guy sold the boat and didn't have the controls! The motor had no compression and it will probably cost more to rebuild it than they sold it for! They knew it was not a good motor and told him it was a great motor. So sad to lie to make a dollar and do people like this! And I only gave them 1 star because I had to to write the review, they do not deserve any stars! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I believe 1301 Shipley Road is Cookeville Auto Salvage Parts address. I also believe Thou shall not lie is against God and is one of the 10 Commandments!

Brought our van in for a diagnostic test, thinking the issue was going to be something I couldn't fix myself. Turned out just to be a dead battery. But nobody called me and let me know that was the issue. Nobody called and asked if I wanted them to change the battery. Nobody even let me know when the work was done. They just did the work and charged me an insane amount for something I would've done myself. It's stuff like this why the smaller locally owned shops get a bad rap. They'll do anything to take your money rather than being honest with your customers.

Excellent Service. Although they didn't have one in stock, they helped me find the right transmission for a Ford e350. it is a hard transmission to get. They went above and beyond to help me get it. They spent alot of time to make sure i got a transmission. They even stayed around an hour and a half after closing to make sure i got it as quickly as possible. I really appreciate this business. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you!

I contacted them about having a tail light shipped and they went above and beyond to verify (unboxing and sending photos) and be assured I was getting the correct part. The service was both fast and courteous. I would definitely recommend and return here. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I had to junk a car for the first time in my life and was completely unfamiliar with the process. These guys made it super easy and made sure everything was taken care of. They also offered me top dollar for my junk car when everyone else was offering pennies. They also offered to drive me up and down the steep hill on their site because my borrowed sedan couldn't handle the incline. Altogether friendly and responsive, too.

We had car troubles and other places were giving us the run around. (Keeping the car a week and then saying they couldn't do it. Another we called was super expressive and we had to bring our own parts) so we took it here after someone gave us a recommendation. They did a great job and made it really easy on us. The price was right. We'd recommend them

Cookeville Auto salvage helped us with a body shop repair though our insurance and it was the best experience of any of the few insurance repairs we have had. They were great at keeping us updated and the end result was excellent. Even with supply chain issues in 2022 they kept working to get us back on the road ASAP. Highly recommended company and staff. Thank you

One side of my bumper came unattached from running up on a curb. They fixed it in 15 minutes and didn't charge me anything! Also, it was obvious to me that they know what they're doing. I highly recommend and would definitely go to them again for repairs.

I don't visit salvage yards on a regular basis - maybe a handful of times. I've been to this one at least 4 times (I see another visit in my near future) and they are respectful, reasonable and most of all, NOT RUDE! Lee and Elohi have been very helpful and accommodating each time I have either called or visited. It also probably helps that I'm not a jerk when I speak to them. You tend to get back what you give. Update - If you call and they don't answer, they're pretty good at calling you back. That's good business. They have called me back twice after not answering the first time.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. They dont make you wait around. They're upfront with everything. Time, price, labor, etc. They even stayed open 10 mins after closing to make sure I got the part I needed so I could get my car running again. Decent prices too. I cant say enough good things about this place!

I highly recommend Cookeville Auto Salvage! My son had a pretty severe moon roof leak on the used vehicle we recently purchased for him. We took it to CAS based on the recommendation of others, and I'm glad we did! Lee and J.R. were friendly and they worked hard diagnosing and fixing the problem which ended up being blocked drain tubes. They also charged much less than a dealership would have for the work. Although we live approximately 1.5 hours away in another city, I wouldn't hesitate to make the trip again to let them work on any of my vehicles that might have a problem. Thanks, guys!

I contacted them today to find replacement panels for my jeep. The gentleman today was probably,if not, the most polite person I've EVER spoken to in the mechanic/car sale industry. He was very willing to help and find a soultion. I will be bringing my jeep parts up there to see about remount and repair and I have faith their service will be just as good in person! I believe they've earned a new customer! Will update my review once I visit in person.

Quality parts at a reasonable price. I got my rear quarter panel glass broke out in December, everyone I called said 150$ or higher. A couple weeks ago my husband and father in law were there and priced a window for 40$ you better believe I bought it. Thanks again!!

I have known Lee harville for many years and he treats me more than fair ,always. And obviously not just me he treats everybody that way he would not be in business as long as he has been if he treated them any differently and besides that I just like his character he's just generally a decent person

My wife wrecked her car. We decided to bring her car to these guys. They were very friendly and did a great job. They made my wife's car look like new. We are very pleased with the work they did including they saved us $1,500 on the lowest estimate. We highly recommend Cookeville Auto Salvage to everyone.

Lee is a great guy but their experience with Allison transmissions is lacking. 6 months to finally achieve marginal running status for my Allison. Very little attention to detail and quality on my project. I could fill four pages with details and did with documentation of complaints.

They had my vehicle at their "shop" for a month. Never diagnosed the problem. Always had an excuse everytime I called. I went up there to get the key so I could have someone else to tow it to their shop & they couldn't find the key. They left the key in the ignition & locked the doors. Will be taking my vehicle somewhere else for sure.

They're either crooks or idiots charged $1400 to replace a transmission that didn't need to be replaced with a leaking transmission then broke down before making it 15 miles doing the same thing it was with original transmission . Now refuses to refund money. Oh yeah and it was to my 74 yr old mother. One class act jack. Replaced the Transmission control module for $221 including shipping, car works great now that I fixed it
