4.1 stars based on 30 reviews- EEmma Allison
I had my car picked up the same day after calling and came in person to pick up my check a couple days later and it was such a smooth process, the two people I encountered in the office were super personable and friendly. I was nervous selling my car but they made the process so easy. :)

First time users so we called the number listed on the website prior to making the 2 hour drive for the part needed and could not get an answer. It was automated system stating that their website was completely accurate and up to date with pricing and availability. Show up and the 4 trucks with potential parts listed on the website were completely torn apart with no parts left on them. The girl at the store asked did we call…yes we did without a response. She then states “oh yeah that takes you to our wholesale dept that doesn’t know what we have”. It was like it was no big deal that we drove 2 hours based on the fact their automated phone service says their website is up to date! So if you are planning a trip to this location don’t waste your time calling or finding what you need once there.

Of course, I should have read the reviews before calling LKQ, But I ordered a part for my BMW X5, over the phone and was told it would be in on Friday. I drive all the way to the location after reviewing their hours online; it’s stated they were open on Sunday! I have a feeling something was gonna go wrong, because of all their crappy reviews and decided to call the same number. I called when I placed the parts order and no one answered for over an hour, I only continue to get their answering service, who kept repeating “they’re supposed to be open.” So, me being an idiot and thinking the hours on the site are correct, I got in my car and drove a good distance only to stand in line, while listening to some girl complain about not charging people three times. Over and over and over again she kept saying, with a very loud voice, “I didn’t charge them three times, I didn’t charge them three times,” and yes she worked there. When it was my turn, I told the guy behind the counter that I ordered a part, “it was supposed to be in on Friday.” He then informed me that that building is separate and they are closed. I asked him why doesn’t anyone answer the phone and he replied they don’t have a landline, while laughing at me. I told him it wasn’t funny and for some reason he still thought it was and continuing to laugh as I walked out the door. I haven’t witnessed such ignorance and disrespect since paying a traffic ticket at the courthouse 20 years ago.

The Older lady who collects the cash was very rude, if she’s retired and doesn’t want to be bothered she should stay home. All customers should be treated fairly or with respect regardless of the race or gender.

Couldn’t find my part but the beautiful brown melanin Ladies at counter were friendly and very helpful on referring me other options to choose, keep up the good work.

No way to talk to the people in America that can answer your questions without physically going there. All automation or Indian answering service. After getting someone i was told i have to drive there to ask someone in person.

It was very difficult to find the part I needed for my car because the part was discontinued. I come here and find the part on one of the cars. Thankful it has been hell trying to get my car back on the road.

My experience I'm trying to found some tires for my vehicle but is look all the good tires pickup by local tire shop the rest bunch scrap

I get things I want but don't pay the 90 day warranty because most things seem to last that I need. As for the cores I bring them with me and keep them in my car till I pay for the parts. They may have a car listed they have but doesn't mean that the part is still on the car. The people are nice but don't think they pull parts for you or have tools. Bring your own. Not sure why they charge a environmental fee when you buy some things. Like tire's because you buy a tire not leave one. 😄 About as good as all the other yards but have seen some other yards they own with most cars in its own area. Ford , Chevrolet , Honda, ECT. This yard has them mixed up, so do yourself a favor and write down the row and side where the car is to save time . Also one the other yards they have is around the corner. It has later model auto's but they pull the parts or have it sent to them fast from there other yards. Hope this helps. Need to know anything else, you'll have to ask my wife. 😏🤔

I came here back in April and paid $155 for a bumper cover due to a new price change. Only to find out a couple months later they have gone back to old price. Which would've been $65. Kinda feel ripped off.

Bought a part, was given a receipt, come to find out I couldn’t use the part so I went to return it and was told I couldn’t because it didn’t have the blue marker on it that was never painted on there even though I had the receipt and the lady was there and claimed “she marks all her parts” - the manager
- RRandy Smith
Won't be coming back pay 3 dollars to walk and look and I have an employee following me around the yard like I'm a criminal and I'm going to steal something out of all the years I've been coming here today was the last day that crossed the line

Excellent marketplace to buy Automotive Salvage parts. - Prices, Etc.
- MMike
Had a good inventory but cant shop here due to fees. Pulled two parts that came to $68 ($43+$25) for both. They added their fees and the total was $114!!!! I ended up leaving one part (brake caliper) because of the absurd fees. Still ended up paying $72 for a $43 part. How does a core charge make sense at a junkyard? It’s obvious they came up with as many fee names as they can think of. Fees were %45 of the total. See pic

Found the vehicle and color I needed for body parts , I live 2 hrs away and wanted to verify what was left on the truck before driving all that way. Your not ALLOWED to talk to anyone or verify anything they want you to just show up. What a stupid way to run a salvage yard who's dumb idea was that anyway? Smh I went to Charleston location seeing maybe they can coordinate with a 2 way radio to Savannah to verify before driving. Nope they won't. Worst service ever and stupid policy .

Are the employees of LKQ Savannah who are calling the price of $49 for this in their mind? I paid $3 for admission.... I examined more than 600 cars, found the part I needed, and found out at the exit that its price was $ 49! This is crazy, this price is almost twice as high as the cost of a new one in the store! Check the cost of new parts before you buy something in LKQ...

LKQ is A good place to Take out your part! Employees are very kind people! 10/10 highly recommended.

The woman in the car buying office is extremely rude and disrespectful to women. I watched her do it not just to me, but to several other women who went in there, but she was always very kind to the men. If I ever need to scrap a vehicle again, it will be literally anywhere else.

Very unprofessional and bad for business. I did the quote over the phone to sell my old vehicle. I wish I would’ve gotten the lady name who did the quote, I told her numerous times that the back bumper was off & she quoted me after. When I get there, the check is a different amount than what was told over the phone. They proclaim they called me twice and it went straight to voicemail, I have no calls from them. Only from the person that was late picking up the car that day, telling us that he was 10 mins away. It’s not even about the amount of money, it’s about me finding out after they already told me the amount they was going to give and now that they have the car it has changed.
- KKeegan Williamson
Unprofessional and lazy workers this is a business after one thing $$$ don't go there with good expectations. Imagine buying wheels that have decent tires on them but You're not going buy half used tires for a brand new price when you could just go and get new tires for cheaper, so they just drill holes into the old ones so you can't use them because They want you to buy the wheels. That was the most petty thing I've ever seen!

Best junkyard in the area. Found what I needed easy. Prices are very reasonable. The only problem is they don't have a local phone number you cannot contact them directly they have junk yards all over the country and it is extremely difficult to find the part you want online. You can't call the junkyard on Route 80 and talk to a live person.
- AAllen Jones
I called the yard on hyw 80. They said they had the part on the yard. Me and my 2 sons drove 1 hour to get there. They asured me again the part was on the yard. Payed $3 each to enter the yard. $9., but they didn't have the part. They would not refund our money. We were nice, but disappointed.☹️ Allen Jones

I just "sold" my old Toyota van to LKQ and had the most enjoyable experience was excellent from start to finish. I filled out the quote online and received a call a short time later and the lady was nice and expedient with no problems. The appointment was set up to get the van and on that day I was called and asked if the van was ready as well as told that I did not need to be there for it to be picked up. There was a slight issue with the pick up but that was nothing on LKQ but the tow company, they gave the driver the wrong zip code and he was in a totally different part of town. The driver called me and he got is straight with no issues and the van was picked up and delivered with no other glitches. I went down to LKQ where I was met by a super friendly staff and shown where I needed to go and that is where I met DJ. DJ was great, he did all the paperwork quickly, checked out the van and cut me a check with no problems. If you need to get rid of your old vehicle and want a decent price for it get ahold of LKQ!

Lkq is a Goldmine.... found a bolt I stripped that O'Reilly's, Advanced, and Autozone's parts picker drones couldn't find in their computers.... Thanks LKQ

If you want to sell or junk you car in the surrounding areas this is the place to do it and of course you will need proof of purchase and that your the owner of the vehicle that you are junking and selling. They are a great team and for first timers they will walk you through everything you need to know. I will say one thing their pick up tow fee isnt that bad if you cant get the car there yourself. Give them a call
- MMichael Thatcher
Why don't they open the doors at 8 am. It's summer time people lined up at the door on Saturday we all standing here wish we could get in get our parts and get on with our day. The employees are standing inside looking at us smoking their cigarettes I would change this if I were incharge
- TTyler Young
Very friendly, they offer a map to make finding the vehicle you need easy and fast. The prices they give you is great. Went for a door latch for my truck, new it is $115. Went to LKQ and got the latch and the catch plate for $13 and it was in new condition.
- UUneasy Rider
Called to sell a truck and got an offer which i would have accepted had it not been for them telling me that they had the right to lower their price after they pick it up and do further inspection. Which means i would have to pick up the truck 2 days later if i didnt like the offer. I would sooner watch the truck be crushed for nothing than make a deal like that.

I've been coming to the junkyard for years but I think I'll start going into Savannah to cash n carry. They've improved the organization but the prices are WAY TO HIGH!!! I came in and bought a radio for $44 but a radio from cash and carry is $15
- RRoss Vickery
Rude staff that offers the bare minimum performance and support. I would rather do walmart self check out than deal with the front office staff. It's almost like they're not even there anyway.
