This is a horrible practice and the hours should be adjusted accordingly. Now I have to drive back on Monday to get paid.

Very helpful staff. You have to wait a while (I was dropping personal stuff off, not commercial scrap) but in/out in 30-40 minutes.

This place doesn’t care about the quality of their drivers. Driver R has a Dui charge. It just hasn’t shown up on the MVR driving report because he hasnt went to court on it. The company chose to ignore my warning about this person so I guess they like to hire drivers who are liablity to their business

Have been helping clean out a house and had some assorted scrap metal, mostly cans, to recycle. Scrapyards are somewhat unfamiliar territory, so I Googled and it seemed Newell was the best choice here in the Savannah area. It is a little out of the way and the yard is perhaps a bit intimidating upon entering, but Joshua was very helpful...he guided me around to the right spot, patiently explained to me the process, and helped me sort through the mess I had brought in. Ended up making about 20 bucks. I was so appreciative I tried to tip him but he said he couldn't accept that...said just come back and tell others about them. Hence this review. :)

I have been coming here for over 6 yrs n I know the staff and they know me. They are always ready to answer any questions n give me suggestions on how to make the most money from my trip. The best part is they don't try to rip u off, a great place to make some extra money scrapping

The staff was awesome. 3 people volunteered to assist me before I could even ask for it. Some of the nicest people I've met.

These people are the best!! They take time with you, polite and very nice. Not sure about the review that said trucks are scary......its a TRUCK.....Anyway, will be back
