I called to have my car junked, and it looks like Wheelzy works with this company as a third party. My car was towed and I was given a check, but it later bounced. I tried calling, but no one picked up, so I had to go into their office in person. Thankfully, they paid me in cash on the spot. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend doing cash-only business with them.

I went through wheelzy to have my car sold for $420. The tow truck driver had shown up took my car and handed my friend the check for the $420. Upon arriving to get my check I deposited it less than 12 hours later my bank notified me that the check was returned for insufficient funds. I want my $420 back or my 2002 Jaguar X-Type back immediately. I will be contacting the proper authorities as well as BBB to notify them of this matter - Nicole Vickers

One star and I only put 1 otherwise I wouldn’t be able to post a review. I sold/junked my car to a company called Wheelzy. Well they had me dealing with Mega Auto Recycling - the tow truck driver who works for Mega is who I met with to get the money, give the car and title to. No problem there BUT I deposited the check that same day and a few days later I received a notification from my bank that the check had NOT cleared! They had my car and my title and I had NO money. I was furious so I called Wheelzy and they put me in touch with Mega Auto, the tow company, and at that point she told me I could come to their office and pick up the cash. I went straight there but it was 22 miles and it took 45 minutes there and back DURING my work day! So if you want to use a company that is highly unprofessional and shady then by all means these are your people! BEWARE, I do NOT RECOMMEND Wheelzy/Mega Auto Recycling.
