I sold my car through Peddle for $595. Peddle connected me with Mega Auto Recycling who picked up my car and wrote me a check for the $595. The check bounced and I have tried numerous times to reach out to Mega Auto Recycling but I cannot get ahold of anyone. Now I am without the car and the money. According to the reviews on Google, Mega Auto Recycling has done this to numerous others. Now I am trying to work with peddle to get the money I am owed. I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and the Attorney General because this seems to be an issue for a lot of others. ***UPDATE*** I was contacted by a representative of Mega Auto Recycling after they received notification of my complaint and the issue has been resolved.

I sold my car through Peddle to Mega Auto Recycling for $465, but the check bounced. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't reach Mega Auto Recycling. I've filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, and Attorney General, as Google reviews show I'm not the only victim of their bounced checks.

The CHECK BOUNCED!!! I had to have my attorney contact them to get cash for my car. They were over 2 hours past the time of pickup. They have zero respect for you and your time. The person answering the phone was extremely rude and literally hung up on me then would not pick up.

I was a little worried about this place based on some of the reviews. However, they were great! They came right on time (they said between 9-10am and got here at 9) and hooked up my car, gave me the agreed upon cash and left. The gentleman didn't speak English but had a translator on his phone and everything went fine. I went through Peddle to sell my car because they gave me the best offer. So if Mega Auto Recycling gets assigned to pick up your car, don't be nervous, they are excellent! Thanks Mega!

Why is it when people have a bad experience (or think they did) they are quick to write a bad review ? Not too often to write a good one , guess that's not as much fun maybe . Well I used Mega Auto Recycling and they got there on time in pouring rain ! Had all the paper work ready I had all my documents, quick easy and simple . The driver produced $560.00 in CASH as agreed . Here are some pictures of the car we bought 32 years ago new and just let go. MEGA AUTO RECYCLING is ok in my book ! Give them a try !!!!!

Sold through peddle, tow truck arrived and lowballed the offer I was given even though all information was correct. Driver hastily loaded and handed me a check. Check bounced, I now don't have the vehicle or the money promised. Definitely do not recommend using their services.

While Wheelzy's was OK to deal with (their people were hard to understand and I don't think English is the primary language for any of them. I found out that Wheelzy's is just a broker and you are actually selling to a salvage company. The company that wheelsy's used was MEGA AUTO RECYCLING ....MEGA RIP (ATTEMPT) OFF First Mega said they could come yesterday afternoon for the vehicle. Then they said they didn't have a driver available but if 1 did become available, they would send him or they would be here between 9 to 10 this morning. At 10:25 I got a call from the tow truck driver saying that he would be here in about an hour. When I asked about the 9 to 10 this morning, I got the "I don't know I am just the driver and I was just given the call" . OBVIOUSLY the lady in dispatch for Mega LIED yesterday when she said someone would come yesterday if free or between 9 to 10 this morning if the driver NEVER GOT THE CALL UNTIL 10:20 I looked at reviews for mega,,,3 x in the past couple of months they wrote checks to customers that BOUNCED. When the driver arrived finally about 11:30 ish, he tried to back up to the vehicle to hook it up. I stopped him and said that due to their bounced checks he was not to touch the vehicle until I took the check 3 blocks down the street to the bank that it was written on and got the money. Offered to let him ride along with me or the other option was to pay me in cash. (when I brought this up to the lady in dispatch yesterday that barley spoke English, she said they only paid with check and I told here then that the vehicle was not going to be moved until I cashed the check at their bank. Once again driver states "I don't know, I am just the driver". Said he would have to call his mgr. Mgr. did tell him to pay me in cash...he pulled out 5 crisp $100 bills even though the agreed upon price was $504. I had to get Wheelzy's on the phone and they told the driver it was to be $504. DON'T KNOW WHY WHEELZY uses such a UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY. But TY TO WHEELZY'S for making it right!!!! NOTICE NO ONE FROM MEGA HAS EVEN TAKEN THE TIME TO RESPOND....THEY DON'T CARE

My check bounced and no one will pick up the phone i guess i will be going to the office first thing in the morning to get this resolved other wise they will be hearing from my lawyer and there will be a lawsuit against mega auto they need to fix this asap

Showed up over an hour after scheduled. Attendant conveniently could not speak English when asked why payment was $50 less than quoted 🤔 🙄 😒 and he conveniently did not have the $50. I had to contact Peddle and Peddle is mailing me the shorted $50. If I have to do this again and Peddle schedules Mega Auto, I will request a different company. Honesty is important to me. A deal is a deal...honor it or don't make it!

The pickup window was 7am-11am - the truck showed up at 9:30am. I signed the title, showed ID, he loaded it up quickly, and paid the quoted amount from Peddle in cash. I was expecting really bad service from all the reviews, but it was a 5 star service. I'd use them again and can safely recommend them.

I had an appointment today between 8am-12pm to have my car picked up. The appointment was set up through peddle and then confirmed with the company. It is currently 12 and both myself and peddle cannot get ahold of anyone for any kind of information.

I recently sold them a 2007 Ford Focus. They wrote me check which I lost, however when I called them to have the stop the payment of the check. They gave me a run around. I called the Company who hired them to pick up my car and they gave the Company the run around. For those who are saying this company is great. My question is how much did they pay y'all to lie on Google. Their customer service is horrible and so is their protocol. Never will I do business with this company again. Never. They still haven't reissued me a check or even attempted to make it right.

So far I have not had a good experience with this company. I don't expect much, I didn't even get upset when they didn't call me in the morning to tell me when they would be here like they said they would. It was my day off and I wasn't really planning on going anywhere. However when I still hadn't heard anything by 3:30 I tried to call them. I called 7 times with no answer and they don't have a voicemail set up. I wasn't called back until 4:15 which is when they decided to tell me they would not be coming because a truck broke down. They knew this first thing in the morning and they didn't bother to tell me until I blew up their phone. It is very unprofessional and I will make sure to voice my displeasure to the company they work with as well as everyone I know.

Truly one of the easiest most painless experiences of my life. Had a very burdensome 2005 Towncar taking up space in my parking spot that no longer ran. I got my use and moneys worth out of it so I was ready to just sell it for parts. I called Clunker Junker who put me in touch with Mega Auto. After spending almost 7 hours trying to jump and fix the battery myself I filled out a 5 minute questionnaire and within minutes received a call from Angel at Mega Auto. He updated me on his ETA and was so kind and professional. He had the cash in my hand for the car and towed it out of here in 15 minutes flat. If you have any vehicles you’re looking to get rid of, I cannot recommend Mega Auto through Clunker Junker enough! Thanks guys!

Awesome! Entered my car info on Peddle, Mega Auto called to schedule a pick up day and time, and a tow truck driver showed up to take the car. He handed us a check for the amount agreed upon on Peddle and loaded up the car. Couldn't be easier! Scheduling pickup for another car now!

Garbage company. Driver showed up 2.5 HOURS LATE. Vehicle was accurately quoted online and then they arrived and said they would not pay the full amount. Don't bother with these incompetent crooks, go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. The only positive reviews are the owners.

Got recommendations for them via peddle . Worst service ever flaked 2/3 times and then said they would call me day of appointment and never did I said something to Carmen the lady handling the appointment and she could care less she just told me she’d reschedule it and then she’d cancel . I ended up going to Gator used auto parts and they gave me a better deal and showed up the first time . If u want to get ur moneys worth for a junk car NOT HERE
