    We purchased a engine from these guys. 3 months ago. They sent the wrong engine. Have been promising to exchange it since then. The nice lady that answers the phone to the delivery driver and especially the owner are all working together to steal, rob and deceived individuals company's out of there hard earned money. I will be reaching out to wavy 10. Please do not trust this company. READ THE REVIEWS!! I would give them a 0. If I could.

    Stay away from those guys,they are selling lies.I purchased engine for Hyundai sonata that supposed to be working as they said,I installed it boom bad motor, called them to get me exchange they keep lying to me and try find away to blame it on me ,I’ve been calling them every day sometimes the hang up on me.i took that engine back and the owner saying it’s not his engine he was really rude bad attitude,they need to close this business and do something else they are unprofessional

    I brought a motor from them and they gave me the wrong one. Took it back and ask for my money back. Wouldn't give it to me. Told me they were going to swap something on the motor to make it fit which I don't want and it's been three days since I heard from em and they won't pick up. I'm out of 1600. Feels like I've been robbed

    Very fast is first thing that come to me..its a little blind faith but i am not disappointed..i got my whole engine swapped and i would reccomend these guys for such a hard job..hopefully they keep there staff and they can become the sole engine swappers..good stuff tho.

    Tried ordering a transmission for a customer. Ordered last Monday, said I’d see it Thursday and nothing came. Called and they said I’d say it Friday morning, still nothing. Called again and they said I’d see the following Monday and guess what happen Monday? Still nothing. I understand things happen and a mistake may happen once and twice every now and then but for it to happen back to back within week? That’s an obvious red flag. I should’ve read the reviews before I ordered because I would’ve saved myself a headache. I do not understand how they are still in business, but please be aware if you are thinking about doing business with them.

    Poor service paid for a good and working transmission. Still have taken it back six times and still doesn't run like it is supposed too. Every time we took it back they lied to us about it being in the bay getting worked on. We would ride by and it was still sitting on the side of the street. We are veterans and disabled on a fixed income. We don't have money to be just giving away. The good Lord will fix it for us.

    I don’t ever write reviews on google but felt like it was definitely worth the time seeing I could save someone from the same mistake I made trusting this company to keep their word. I bought an engine from this company on 21 days ago and was promised it’d arrive 5 days after the purchase. I’ve been calling everyday asking for a tracking number and the guy would pick up the phone and say “I’m getting it right now, let me call you back in a few minutes” and would never call back. Probably the worst service i’ve ever dealt with in my life. If you’re thinking about sending a cent with this company PLEASE THINK TWICE, definitely not worth it! If I could give zero stars I would without a doubt.

    POS!! Lied said he changed my grandmothers battery she got home and it was the same one she had to go back to have him put the new one on and then still didn’t add the connectors properly! He will ignore tf out your calls unless you call from different numbers. He’s a fing troll I hope the bbb shuts this mf down for taking advantage of old ladies!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS THEIF YOUR MONEY!!!!!

    Guys are complete crooks. Delivered wrong blown up motor and ignore phone calls. Tried them years ago and was hoping it was different. Don’t buy from them. They will just ignore phone calls after they screw you

    This is straight to the point! I I had wrote a bad review on this company before. I then decided to go and meet the owner and the young lady that works at the counter. I thought after talking with them that they would keep their word and fix the bad engine that they had sold me. After talking with them I changed my review to reflect the pleasant conversation that we had in person. People I am here to say its been a month and they have not kept their word. Now, It appears that I will have to fight with them to retrieve my car. THIS IS A REALLY BAD PLACE TO DO BUSINESS! You may not know me out there but I am a person who believes that a person word is bond, a hand shake holds you true to a deal. I have served in the US Marine Corps were Honor, Trust, Integrity meant something. I currently put my life on the line everyday to save those whom I don't know as a Firefighter in the City of Richmond. I am and have raised twin daughters who are now in college, as a single father. The information I have just giving you about me should say a lot about who I am. So trust me and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

    Totally unacceptable care of customers.... I picked a transmission up, paid for it. Here it is exactly 10 days later(funny how the time to get my money back is 10 days too) and still do not have the correct transmission for my vehicle. Was promised last week they would deliver it. I finally get a vehicle to pick up a replacement and deliver it to the repair shop (that is 65 miles away) and tell them I will be picking it up personally and they "pulled the wrong one"... They have had photos from the repair shop for 7 days now and had not even bothered to see if they had the correct one until I said I was going to come get it. Missed work, had to borrow a car, and still no transmission because "they are too busy and don't have time to pull it right now"... Holding me up from a repair and the bay at a repair shop... NO, I am not happy at all, and I still don't have a car.. Let's see if they follow through tomorrow....

    I ordered a motor from Virginia Motor Specialists. I told them all the specs, was informed the motor was on crate and can be delivered the same day. once the motor showed up it was completely the wrong motor. Then I was informed that I would have the motor the following day at 10am. It is now 12:40pm the following day and my calls are being ignored, no communication of any sort. Now I have a vehicle holding up my lift, and ready for a motor that I have no clue when is arriving. Business to Business.....Horrible.

    Went for rims for a Honda Civic at 9am. They had the rims but had to be taken from the car. They were short of workers. They told me to return after an hour. I returned and the rims had not been removed so they told me to return in two hours. I returned again and the rims still werent removed. Finally got them after another 30 minute wait. I understand the problem keeping help in that profession. The price was very fair. Just don't be in a hurry!!

    Bought a transmission that was no good as soon as it was installed and once we called about the issue we got ignored. No one would answer the phone until I called from a number they didn’t know then once they found out who it was of course I got put on hold and ignored again. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, CHECK ALL THE REVIEWS UNDER NEWEST TAB

    Worst service!!! Many times I was told that the engine will be ready for pickup in a few days for 2 weeks. Never got the engine and no explanation . Don't waste your time!!!!! Stay away!!!!!

    I have been coming here for years I am a Door Dash driver and my vehicle needs to be maintenance regularly. This shop has never failed me they have helped me and are always fair with everything. So thankful they are here in Hampton.

    If I could give them zero stars I would. Keep in mind I'm just trying to get a quote on price of labor for transmission after two weeks MATT never provide a quote. He just keep saying yeah yeah I have your number I'll call you back. Imagine how long it would take if he start working on the car. Please save yourself time and headache and go SOMEWHERE ELSE.

    They sold me a fuel tank that was supposed to come with the fuel pump. I asked this kid before I bought the fuel tank if they would include the fuel pump he said yes. Then I had to call the day it was supposed to be available for pickup. Only for them to tell me the fuel tank doesn't have a fuel pump. When I had already purchased a fuel pump from advance Auto. And he told me to return the piece because the fuel tank was supposed be fully assembled. They are rude the guy did not even apologize he just said well that's the way it came. I am so upset with this horrible service. They are a bunch of scams.

    Had a great time and got some really good deals! Mr. Gordon recommended we come early (30-45 min advance) because they sell some items in mixed lots. Ask questions before hand and talk to the regulars. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! I plan on going back.

    This place is a JOKE!! Do not!! I repeat DO NOT ORDER ANY PARTS FROM THIS PLACE !! It’s not a business it’s a scam!! ORDERED A transmission and it was the wrong transmission so the replaced it with a BAD TRANSMISSION!!! It’s been ongoing for about a month now!!! I’ve been calling these people every day for 3 weeks straight and NO RESPONSE!!! I would STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY!!!! The will not reimburse you if the part is wrong and once they drop part off “ good luck trying to get ahold of anyone!!!! I will reach out to the BBB AND ALSO COMPLAIN!!!     I purchased a motor for a 2006 Cadillac SRX on Saturday December 11, 2021 and had it delivered to a mechanic shop. On Monday December 13, 2021 the mechanic pulled out our blown engine and got ready to install the engine that was delivered by Virginia Motors Specialist. The mechanic called us with bad news to inform us that they delivered a Camaro engine and it will not work in my 2006 Cadillac SRX. I immediately called Virginia Motors Specialist and talked to Matt about the issue and he told me that somebody will be there the next day to confirm to see if it was the wrong engine. Unfortunately, nobody showed up and mechanic had car on the lift from Monday December 13 to Friday December 17. I continued to call multiple times and receptionist put me on hold and hanged up on numerous occasions, I got in touch with Dave and he confirmed to me that they had the motor and they will deliver it to me on December 21 and they still did not show up again,, called many times and Matt hanged up the phone when he found out it was me calling about the CADILLAC SRX Motor, I eventually had to go pay the mechanic for the work that he done and i had to tow my vehicle out of his shop. As a result, I took the motor and loaded it onto my pickup truck and took it back to VIRGINIA MOTORS SPECIALIST.... As a result,, this company wasted my time and they was the worst junk yard that i have dealt with in 8 years of doing business. I would never use them again and i dont recommend anybody to purchase a motor from them either,,,,VERY BAD BUSINESS AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! After reading their reviews, it was only right for me to leave a review also to protect other consumers and small car dealerships like myself. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

    He said he had the part we needed. When we arrived he insisted it was the right part when we knew that it wasn’t. He was swearing and telling us we didn’t know what we were talking about. Then he realized it the wrong part and he began cursing about someone who worked there. It was all very rude and depressing.

    If I could give them no stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anybody . I was told they had the part to my car , got it and it wasn't for my car . then they told me that they had the part and just had to pull it. Gave us the run round for a week and a half saying they gonna pull it or gave some dumb excuse on why it wasn't pulled and then when I finally told them to lower the price for the wait they stated they don't have the part and they dont know who told me that they have it . then said sorry and hung up . completely unorganized and unprofessional.

    I have been paying on an engine for a lincoln navigator for 2 1/2 years. I made the final payment of $200 on 6/2/15. I hired a tow truck driver to transport the engine from va motors on 6/4. On 6/7 the mechanic informed me that I was given the wrong size engine but he would try to make it work. On 6/8 I contacted va motors to inform them that I was given the wrong size engine and they hung up on me and stopped answering answering my calls.On 6/9 I went to va motors to request that they replace the wrong engine with the correct engine. Initially, I was told that I had to return the other engine first and then he would take the correct one to the manager. I suggested that since it was his error he should take the correct engine to the mechanic and pick up the wron one while he was there instead of requiring me to pay for another tow truck. His response was that he wasn't going to do that because he didn't feel like it. I called the police (they said they've been out to this business for the same type of problems many times) to ask for assistance and he still refused. I then rented a uhaul(which was less expensive) and had the mechanic load the engine onto the pick up. I returned the engine and asked for a refund and was told 'GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK!' Prior to returning the engine I contacted Hampton police to escort me. The engine was returned (I took pictures and video)and I left with nothing. I paid $900 for the engine and received nothing in return. I was asked to leave the property and I did so EMPTY HANDED AND OUT OF $900.
