My friend chose this place because of the high reviews. Their experience has been the complete opposite. They brought their car here almost a month ago. No updates were given unless they called. Several times they were told it’s being worked on. But still nothing has changed. They had the car towed there and can’t afford to move it again. Otherwise they would have taken the car elsewhere. At this point it seems like their car is being held hostage. There is no urgency to complete the repair. I would love for the owner to reach out regarding this matter. As my friend is worried that saying anything about their issue will cause them to become upset.

I chose this shop based on the positive reviews and appreciated the consensus of respect the community gave to Mr. Herman’s Shop, as the negative reviews seemed to be pretty petty to me. I called and scheduled for an oil change and received a time window the same day to bring it in, and the process was seamless. Like many of the reviews state, Mr. Herman is a trustworthy guy, as I didn’t even know what type of oil my car took and from his experience he recommended the best one for my car. So far it’s been running very well! A first Impression is a lasting one, I plan to bring my car back for regular maintenance as long as the shop welcomes me. For those considering Hampton Park Auto Body & Repair. This isn’t a dealership or a large shop. The owner is very hands on with the vehicles coming in and out. As long as you exercise patience and flexibility you’ll be very pleased with Mr. Herman’s work.
