Renting in Yakutat is a unique experience. Your choices are quite limited, the prices expectedly high and the fleet is eccentric. We ended up in an old Jeep Cherokee with a cracked windshield, over 200,000 miles on the odometer and a couple of other quirks. This is typical given Yakutat's remote location. It got us from point A to point B, including all the way out to Harlequin Lake, so that's what mattered. Great staff at Leo's that helps you all along the way. Would use again if we're in the area and recommend to others.
