This is not a tow review but a fabulous human review. Driver saw me waiting for another tow company in Kīlauea- he stopped just to help. Convinced me to temporarily fix my car myself until I could get to repair shop. He was inspired - other company could not come - so I would have been stranded. I did exactly what he said to do - car repair was easy- he saved my time and lots of money Garden is the ONLy tow company I will ever use or recommend May they be blessed 10 times over for the blessing of them in my day yesterday

Answered the phone immediately and driver arrived within the time she said he would. I wish I could remember the yow truck driver's name, as he was extremely nice as well. I highly recommend Garden Island Towing should you run into an "unfortunate" need for roadside assistance. But if you do, call them first!!

Had this company dispatched for a lockout through AAA around 12:25 (after calling it in about an hour before). I had called them directly a few times during the day for updates as we’d also been trying other tow companies through the car rental’s roadside assistance that kept flaking. During calls, if they answered, they were nice but didn’t follow through on what they said they’d do (such as giving us a call back with an ETA update, come out to assist, etc). One time they did explain the driver they had had a flatbed that couldn’t make it to where we were so they were going to need to change cars. That was helpful because otherwise as we waited for the 5 hours we did wait for them, we had no clue if they were 15 minutes out or 4 hours out. They had also said there were 19 jobs they had so I understood they were busy and it was obviously our own fault we were locked out so they overall wait time isn’t the issue here. First update we had gotten was that they’d be there at 1:02. Second was 1:24 so we headed back to the car as we had no service where the car was parked and had to keep walking elsewhere to get updates or make calls. Third at 1:22 we got an update saying they were delayed. 2:30, 3:07, 3:43, 4:07 we requested AAA updates via their virtual assistance that all just said “delayed”. I finally called the company directly and got the information about the flatbed. Thankfully, my brother had a rental as well and we got that to leave the car for the first time after 5 hours of waiting with it. I was asked to send photos of the car to one of the workers. We tried but due to lack of service, they weren’t going through until we got to a bigger town. Then at 5:19, the AAA automatic notifications said our service request was canceled. I messaged AAA and they said it was the tow company who canceled with no explanation. So yeah, thanks to this tow company and AAA for wasting 5+ hours of our time to just cancel on us.
