they ripped me off, they paid me $1.10 per pound for #1 copper while average price is $3.50 per pound. theft.

I came here looking to scrap bare copper, the gentleman offered me $1.25 a pound. Internet states $3.50 a pound, I questioned him on that and his response was, I’m only going to give you $1.25 lb and I don’t care what the internet says.<br>I didn’t use his services, I proceeded to check with Aaron recycling in Oakland and they offered me $3.50 lb.<br>If you want to be robbed go here

There must be some disconnect between what they are selling and what they think they are selling and their prices reflect that. They should replace the word "junk" in their name with something more appropriate like maybe platinum. They would rather something in their yard rust away to nothing, then come down on their price. If you dare to try and negotiate on a price, they look at you like you said the most stupid thing ever. Don't waste your time looking here, unless of course, you like abuse.
