I have been going to B&G for years and used to love it because the people were friendly and the prices were unmatched. But my experience today has me infuriated. I brought cans in and the man who weighed them with their machine yelled 47 to the guy at the computer who then responded with 37?? I was closer to the man weighing them so I thought maybe I misheard the man at the computer. I didn't. I get to the office and they cash me out for 37lbs. I bring up my concern with the office lady and she calls over the walkie talkie without explaining what my concern was and only asked for the weight again. For all she knows it was the same guy who entered it wrong. I told her I know what the guy said who weighed them and he said 47lbs. She stared at me blankly and I just left. I bring cans here regularly and I know I had more than 37lbs. I had more than I normally have and 37lbs is normal weight for me. 10lbs might not seem like a big deal to some but it is to me and I needed that money. I feel like they literally stole from me and then didn't hear my concern. It has changed my entire outlook on this business. I hope $7 is worth losing a loyal customer who regularly speaks your praise.
