Criminally greedy. I had a car battery, 5lbs aluminum scrap, and a large roll of new aluminum flashing (that I should’ve sold separate for 50$). The Older guy appeared out of the trash like Oscar the grouch, then took my items in back HIMSELF to weigh. He provided no weight, no price, no receipt. Not even option to take it back. Gave me SEVEN DOLLARS. I get 11$ for the battery alone at Siegel scrap and the aluminum just at market price would’ve been $30. My dad had just been hospitalized so I didn’t bother engaging/arguing with Oscar the thief.. laughed and walked. Glad I didn’t bring my big stuff here, if they cheat you over 20 I can’t imagine how much they steal from hundreds!
