I am requesting that a manager contact me immediately regarding a serious and unacceptable issue with inconsistent and misleading payout rates.<br><br>I have been a customer of your business for years. Three days ago, I brought in Gracie copper and was paid $1.61 per pound. Today, I brought in the same material in the same amount and was paid $0.50 less per pound.<br><br>Fortunately, I kept my receipt from the prior transaction. When I presented it at the front desk, the employee immediately knew exactly what the issue was and had a check cut within seconds for the difference — $507. The speed and lack of explanation strongly suggest this is not an isolated mistake, but a known and recurring problem.<br><br>What further raised concern was that another customer arrived at the same time and went straight to the window with a receipt, appearing to dispute a similar issue.<br><br>This entire situation felt extremely shady and unprofessional. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, it is impossible to ignore the possibility that I was being shorted intentionally. No customer should have to challenge a payout or bring prior receipts to ensure fair treatment.<br><br>I will not return to this business under any circumstances unless:<br><br>A manager contacts me directly,<br><br>Clear transparency is provided on pricing and payouts,<br><br>Corrective actions are taken to ensure customers are paid fairly and consistently.<br><br>I expect prompt follow-up.

The workers are always happy and very helpful. This is the only place I go, because of how well I like the employees. I didn't get help at the other places like I do here. So I will go with the one that makes me feel like I belong there and their happy to see me. Might just be part of their job but they have me convinced if it is only part of their job
