Bought a car battery here thinking it may not be the best price but surely the best battery. I also had some household batteries I wanted to recycle, as their website says they provide this service.<br><br>I went into the store and asked about household battery recycling, and the man behind the counter said there's no need, and that they're safe to throw out. At this moment I should've turned around and left, but my car's battery was completely dead and I didn't know enough to catch that BS. This is a person who works in a battery store after all. But... Even if they are safe to throw away, why is that your first option?<br><br>I got quoted a battery for 160 and it was kind of lame. ~500 cca vs the one I had in my car which had about 200 more cca. None of this was mentioned, no comparisons, just "this is the battery for your car". Bought the battery for 190 thinking that I'd get a refund for the old battery once I returned it.<br><br>I changed the battery in the lot and they let me use their tools which was nice but not necessary. When I came back and I asked about the core refund they told me they already applied it. Taxes? Theft? No explanation, no respect, no quality. Also no warranty was mentioned at any time.<br><br>This is why you're losing to Walmart and Costco. Crazy how you're less likely to get scammed at a box store that sells everything than a shop that only sells batteries.

I was there this morning to get a battery replacement for my Casio watch. He told me "it's easy to change as there was no need to remove the wrist band". After changing the battery I asked him to reset the clock which every battery place does. He told me he didn't know how to to do it. He charged me $20 and the receipt says "difficult watch battery install" $15.81 and for the CR2025 battery itself was $3.95. I will never go there again.

Battery Giant saved me at least $150 for my battery and installation as compared to to Belle Tire. Jim @ the location is phenomenal with the services. Got the battery replaced on 01/09/26. Thank you Jim
