~$1200 down, and my check engine light remained on. This has honestly been one of the worst shops I've visited, as they provided a poor diagnosis for my car. I informed them that the code for the check engine light indicated a problem with the mass airflow sensor and that I had already replaced it with a new one. They disregarded everything I said and instead proceeded to change my mass air flow sensor three times. They also changed other unnecessary parts. After taking my car back to them five times, I got sick of it. They even told me that they had a "specialist" look at it, and they don't know what's wrong with my car. Sometimes they wouldn't even give me my receipts because their machine wasn't "working," yet when I asked them to email it to me, they never did. At times, I would show up and be surprised by fixed parts that they never notified me about and charged me for, usually over $100 charges. I'm not sure if they think I'm wealthy or what, but I used most of my financial aid money to fix my car. I had to tell the receptionist to please call me before I get charged because I'm running low on funds. I left in this shop, with a check engine light still on and a broken mass airflow sensor case. They also ate in my car and left salsa stains in it (I will include pictures of the stains), and I know it was them because I never eat in my car, and I'm the only one who's in it. I felt disrespected because I cleaned my car out for them when I dropped it off; they could've at least wiped off the stains before returning it to me. It's a shame because I was recommended to go here by friends. As a college student, this experience was particularly stressful because I rely on my car for both work and school. I do thank them for fixing my A/C, but the service could've been better.<br><br>My car is European. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND European Motor Cars in Chinatown if you have a European car. They charged me approximately $150 for a diagnostic, and the check engine issue that Discount Auto Repair charged me over $1000 to not even fix, was an air leak that was properly diagnosed using smoke. They charged me approximately $70 for a kit that included the O-ring my car was missing, and took pictures of all the issues my car had, quoting me for all the necessary repairs. My check engine light never came back on, and they did a courtesy car wash.

Don't do business here less than 6 months I got my new radiator installed bought new coolant just to find out today stop leak was added when I didn't ask for that now my coolant looks like ish and will be paying for a flush I shouldn't have to
