My car was towed late at night from an abandoned lot during a CSU basketball game. While there were signs, I simply missed them. Regardless, the towing felt completely predatory and unnecessary. Coordinating with the nearby St. Luke Catholic church to tow vehicles late at night seems exploitative and designed more to punish than to protect property. Coming out of the game with my son and his three friends at 11 o'clock at night in the middle of January was extremely frustrating, to say the least. They also kept my car all weekend long, with the cheapest option being that I come and get is Monday morning. Retrieving my car was inconvenient and stressful. I hope Import Towing and Recovery reevaluates practices like this so others aren’t caught in such avoidable situations. And whatever laws Polis put into place did not help. The tow cost my $320 on Monday and would have been $380 if I wanted to get my car immediately.

David from Import Towing, came to my rescue, going above and beyond what I would call "good service." He was not only very competent and professional, but was he kind and compassionate and went well beyond what you could ask of a towing company.
