After my personal experience and reading the reviews, it seems like metro towing prays on young women. Every review but one I have read has been from a female. I am not from the Lexington area and had briefly pulled at Domino’s to quickly run in a coffee shop beside Domino’s. I ordered my coffee ahead of time, so it was ready. I was in there at most two minutes. I walked out to my car being lifted to be towed. I was in shock, because there was no logistical way Domino’s could make a call to the towing company, and they be there within two minutes. I politely told the man it was my car, and that I had just grabbed my coffee. He told me that he could either charge me a drop fine now for $110 or take my car. I had a Doctors appointment at UK, so I needed it. After I paid and he released my car, I watched him park across the road watching for other victims like myself in a vulnerable situation. He also made a comment to me about having a breakdown. This is an unethical practice, and metro towing should be ashamed of themselves. I understand that it is their job and everyone has to make a living but they 1. are camping out to scam people and 2. Are targeting females. I am reporting to BBB.

My vehicle died in the drop off lane at my kids’ school! After calling 4 other tow companies (which didn’t answer the phone), I got in touch with the folks at Metro and was told someone would be there in about 20 minutes. Rob made it to me in less than 15 minutes and he was the nicest guy! I told him my problem and with the knowledge he has about vehicles, he made some suggestions on how to determine the culprit and how to get my vehicle back on the road. Thanks Rob, and thanks Metro!

The front desk lady is so mean and rude. She seemed happy to tell me my friend owed over $200 and when I was reasonably frustrated she had the biggest attitude I have ever seen. In general your company is built off exploiting college students who already have very little money. I am also not sure why the cost is so much when it was transported less than a 2 minute drive to the towing lot. I think you should reconsider what kind of people you all are.
